For Noah

Once again I am late for the Tuesday TeaPot Party at SplitcoastStampers - but I will get the card off today!  This week the destination is Noah, who is in rehab dealing with neurological problems.  He enjoys the quiet out of doors, and this is an attempt to bring a bit of that peaceful scene to his indoor space.
New:  first time to use this  Paper Pizzazz dp, and the first I have printed this verse from Word Art.
Neglected:  this quarter rounder punch has been in my collection since my first stamping efforts, but I often forget to use it until all the pieces are glued together!  The star punch is also somewhat neglected.
Not so new:  Cheery Lynn leaf punch; washi tape, solid cs, brads.

Old time farming

This card is courtesy of a cyber friend at SplitCoastStampers, Mary, aka octoberbabe.  She used this combination of images on a card for a Tuesday TeaPot Party.  When I saw it, I knew I had to have this for my hubby's twin.  At age 82, he has had health issues, and just recently moved to an assisted living facility, at least for the winter.  He is a retired farmer, and my hubby has often helped him.  He says this tractor is a John Deere D, just like their uncle used to have.  This really looks like a ND landscape years ago!  The stamps she used are from a company called Bad Axe, and probably no longer available.  Thanks, Mary, for stamping this - and adding all those great touches.  The card is 6.5 x 4.75.
New:  image; bg using SteamPunk EF by Darice
Other:  DP by DCWV; Washi tape
Sketch - great to have a choice so I found one that worked with this image - #278: http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/

AI Pop Ups

I just bought the AI pop ups sets - I had not realized how many cards I could make - probably over 100 with all the sets!  There will be a lot of them displayed here.  This is from Set 1 - I only used two of the main images. They will be fun and easy to use.  I must admit that I did a little extra - I roughly traced around the main image, on white cs, and quickly cut inside the lines - to create a stuffer backing for the pop up.  Since I was not too concerned about being exact, it only took a couple of minutes, and added some sturdiness. The inside verse:  Things could be worse.  we could be trying on bathing suits.  (the black bg is for the photo only)
Also new - the HB folder by Embossibilites.  It is 6x6 so can be used in either landscape or portrait formats, and allows a bit of a choice as to which part to place on the card.
One of my resolutions is to also use up some old supphttp://sweet7challenge.blogspot.com/lies - I have had these brads for several years!  The sentiment is from a library stamp by American Crafts.  The oval is cut with Spellbinders Majestic Elements.  For the strip I used a bit of polka dot washi tape on the orange cs.
