Thanks to the team at Stick it Down for selecting me to be a guest designer for January. They provided a great sketch, and this is my card. I just received a cute packet of birthday items from Try Stampin on Tuesday - perfect for a card for our daughter-in-law. I added a swirly circle die cut from Memory Box. Check out the January posts at Stick it Down here. You have until the end of January to enter using the sketch for the month.

W - Wise Men ~ Christmas
There is a race at Beccy's! This is another recycled example. I really liked the embossed gold Wise Men. I decided to sort of fussy cut the grouping, mount it o red, and add a sticky strip gold border. The sentiment is computer generated.

A jewelled birthday
This is one of my favorite jewel tones - I have used shades of shiny teal CS. I dug out some matching Robin drops - they have been gathering dust and I need to do something with them! I sanded the embossing folder, and distressed the edges. The die cut is from Couture Creations - a set I have had a while and neglected to use. much I added punched flowers.

Seeds of hope 3
See my previous posts for information on the Seeds of Hope after school program I am helping out this week - my first experience working with young kids at a craft class so I am not sure what their skills are! I am trying to minimize layers - hence the doodles on the QKR sentiment. The heart outline is in my files and I neglected to note the source. Let me know if you recognize it! I used a sticker - I know kids like stickers! The embossing folder is by Darice, I used red cs from a new pack.

Christmas 2015 #6
I am trying to catch up after a couple of busy days - and days when our wi-fi was just too slow to add links. This is part of a collection of 6 cards I made for a friend. She is SO happy with the result, which makes me pretty happy too! Image by Unity; cuttlebug Snowflake embossing on shimmery vanilla cs; Spellbinder dies.
