QKR Stampede #269, ATG-option, Touch of Gold

This is my Design Team card for the weekly Anything Goes challenge at QKR Stampede - with the option of a touch of gold.  You have until 3 pm Thursday, Nov. 16, and you may enter up to 3 times.  There is a separate category for anyone who uses a QKR Stampede or Eureka image.  I will add an anniversary or wedding sentiment later.  You may see a few embossed hearts across the top of the black layer.  I used metallic gold cs for the Majestic Elements (Spellbinders) circle, and a bit of the leftover "negative" of the circle for the strip dividing the cream and black bg layers.  A few half pearls complete the elegant motif.

April Showers before May flowers

These AI gals are so much fun - this is from the pop up set called Rain Rain go Away.  I did not use all the layers - the bg, cloud, sentiment, and the gals under the umbrella.  I added a bit of shading (chalk) to the cloud.  The buttons are faux - die cuts!  The flowers will be showing up in May - they are Cheery Lynn die cuts, with some sparkly gems added.

Guest at High Hopes

This is a fun announcement to make - this is my card made for my spot as a guest designer here:  http://highhopesstamps.blogspot.com/  The image is Aunt Marge's Garden, by High Hopes.  It is a larger image, so the card is 4.75x6.5.  I added a strip of vellum embossed with LOVE (Cuttlebug).  Coloring is with Prismas, and the hat is paper pieced - a delicate flowery pattern.

Love that lady bug

This Penny Black  hedgie looks absolutely smitten with the lady bug, don't you think? I colored them with chalk pencils and a gel pen, and used a lot of scraps of dp, even a sentiment that was kind of in my scrap stack!
