HB, Spencer

Our grandson recently had  a successful moose hunt - with a bow and arrow.  I dug this image out of my Wish RAK box - I thought he would enjoy it.  The camo bg is by Paper Studio, and the trees from Paper Pizzazz. The strip is a bit of decorated duct tape and I used Dazzles for the black strips.

DT card for ATG at QKR Stampede - Gone Fishing - HB, Ethan

Spring time and fishing - they go hand in hand in my family - especially for our son, son-in-law and our grandsons.  I have used this image from QKR Stampede called Gone Fishing.  We hope you will join us at the QKR Stampede weekly challenge - you may add up to 3 entries by 3pm EDT Thursday.  You have a chance to win this or any QKR image. If you use a digi from QKR or Eureka you have another chance to win - 3 images for that!  Take a look here to see what my DT teammates have made to inspire you this week.
This is for my grandson's birthday.  He is a hot shot fireman and spending the summer in Alaska - looking forward to fishing if he ever gets a day off!  I colored the image with Prismas, and used a computer generated sentiment.   I used some fishing DP for the bg and added twine and tiny fish stickers - I am sure he hopes for something bigger!!!

Colorful get well

There are so many wonderful stamps and digis available - recently I have discovered http://freedeariedollsdigistamps.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2015-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&updated-max=2016-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&max-results=24 .   I have no connection, other than wanting to point out the availability.  This is a pre-colored freebie.

Safari animals

For some time I have wanted to use this DP on a card.  This is a belated thank you to someone who hosted a dinner for a travel group - we are planning a trip to South Africa in a few weeks.  We do not expect to see blue elephants or purple giraffes, but we do expect to see a lot of animals.  After I had completed the card I realized I could have had a better fit of the bg paper had I cut it in two pieces.  I often struggle to use these larger bg pieces as the pattern usually does not quite fit the layout.  These papers are from a Debbie Mumm stack.

Jungle in the fall

First of all, sorry for the faded look - I am not sure what happened!
Then, I am always happy when I figure out a way to use some of the DP with an over all or larger image - There are always some of these sheets in the big stacks I buy - and buying them is an addiction, I admit!  This is from a Debbie Mumm pack.  I added some Shapeabilities swirls, a sentiment from the 7Gypsies library stamp, and tiny punched birds.
