God's peace

I am preparing some card for our church out reach.  I am also trying to use some of the VERY many items I have neglected - not sure why I have not used this before.  It is certainly a reassuring verse, and put together in such a lovely way on the Word Art blog.  In addition to all that, the colors are great for the color part of the Verve challenge for the first week in August.  Most of my papers are at our home - I still have a lot here, but cannot always find just the right one - hope the floral is ok with the rest of the card.

For Boyd

A friend asked me to make a card for their son-in-law, a pastor.  She wanted Scripture, and a reference to fishing - so I chose this dp from a DCWV pack.  I have had this Psalm stamp for many years - as well as the teardrop embellishments.  I used some stickers for his name, and stamps from the Verve Wishing You set.

Be the Elephant, #2

Please see my previous post for more details.  I changed the orientation and colors, but other elements are the same - as is my story!  I find lots of positive advice here!  My grandkids think I am an adventurous Grandma!

Joanne's birthday

This is for a friend from church.  Her birthday is right after Christmas.  She has been undergoing cancer treatment, and can use a bit of a lift.  The Stampin Up image and Basic Grey paper and doily have been in my stash (From Splitcoaststampers WishRAK) for several years.  The irridescent gems are by Recollection, as is the sentiment.

Sparkly shabby vintage

Time for a more serious birthday card!  There is more sparkle IRL - glitter, pink (yes, they are pink) rhinestones, and a shimmery ribbon.  The butterflies are from Cheery Lynn dies, and the sentiment is from a Recollections set.  I think the DP (unknown, from my stash) looks vintage, and I distressed the edges a bit.

Black and White Sympathy

Unfortunately, it always seems necessary to have sympathy cards in my stash - for personal use and for customers.  This is one of my go-to floral images,  I have always colored it, but I recently used it in black and white, and discovered it is a look I like.  It is called watercolor daisy, by Hampton Art.  The sentiment is Rubber Stampede.  I was happy to receive quite a bit of black and white paper from friends at WishRAK (Splitcoaststampers), and this is a nice subtle one for the bg look I was seeking.  I added Offray ribbon, Petaloo sparkly flowers, and crystals.

Christmas tag

I need a number of tag/gift card holders for grandkids.  Since time is short, I am going for a simple design - though the letter cutting does take some time.  I have more to post later.
Embossed tree -  QuicKutz; snowflake - Recollections puinch;  letters - CB Olivia; glitter, ribbon, tiny punch.  Thanks to a couple of Design Team members for ideas and inspiration.

For a Nurse

Many times customers ask for specialty cards, and I am trying to create a few that will meet these requests.  I think this would be great for a birthday, or as a thank you for a nurse who has provided special care.  The image is CC Designs.  I colored with metallic gel pens and pastel chalk pencils.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The DP is from a Debbie Mumm stack.  The ovals are Nesties, and the strip is a CB die.
