I just received this prize from Skipping Stones Designs - sadly, their challenges have come to an end.
My grey haired friends will really enjoy these cards LOL!!! I am also enjoying this Hopscotch set from Basic Grey. I used DP, chipboard stickers, and sticky paper tape. The punch is Martha Stewart, and the bg cs is AMuse.

Simple tag
In reality, I seldom make tags - and most definitely not fancy ones, except for special situations. So this is a pretty simple one. I adhered the Basic Grey cs to the base - cut with dies #3 and 4 from Labels4. After I embossed the snowflakes I realized I had placed the tag upside down in the folder. So it is debossed - but the back is nicely embossed LOL!!! The tag section is computer generated and cut with edging scissors.

Christmas #5
I discovered I have very little in traditional red and green for Christmas, as I have been using burgundy and gold tones. I am not sure this plaid fits, but it will do! The image is from an unmarked cube. I added green with a Spica pen, and some glitter. The embossing folder is CB;s snowflakes.

Special for Anna
This is a card for a granddaughter - she is starting her senior year in college, and will student teach in the spring. We thought she could use a few extra $$ - we cannot quite imagine how young families today can manage household expenses together with what is needed for college.
There is not much to explain. I used Olivia (CB) letters, snowflake ef (CB) - I know that is out of season but it seems kind of like a celebration to me - and a sentiment from a Recollections set.
I did not add to this sketch: http://skippingstonesdesign.com/

Sending a smile to a cyclist
My allergies have been acting up - seems like the discomfort settles in my eyes, so it is hard to get involved in card making! I took advantage of an easy sketch to showcase this Basic Grey bicycle dp - I added punched buttons and a Dandelion sentiment.

Masculine with an eyelet
This image by Rubber Cafe works well for masculine cards. The DP is from my never ending pack of double sided cs from Costco. Added: eyelet, twine, button.
I have had these eyelets for years - http://clearitoutchallenge.blogspot.com/

Western Father's Day
This western image is an older set from Mark's Finest Papers. The sentiment is really old and has no label. I used my brand new Vagabond die cut machine to emboss - I am afraid my cuttlebug is dying from overuse! I have lots to learn, but I really liked the results of the Vagabond in some limited tries. And I got a good deal at Joann's, so I am pretty satisfied. This is the CB Argyle folder. I completed the card with a brad and shiny brown twine.

Flowery birthday
This is pretty self explanatory. The DP is by Recollections; Ribbon is Offray, flowers by Petaloo, the scallop punch is Fiskars, and the sentiment is JustRite. I sprinkled a bit of glitter over the patterned paper.

House Mouse - watermelon
These critters are cute as long as they are not running around my place LOL!!!
I used dp from a DCWV Summer Stack, as well as red, white and yellow cs. The HM image is colored with chalk pencils. The sentiment is JustRite. The photo holders are Shapeabilities. I added twine, brads and eyelets.

A favorite color (floral)
Today I am combining a tough (for me) challenge and an easy one!
First, the tough one - I have trouble figuring out what to do with rows of stripes like this. I decided to use a piece of DP (DCWV Garden Party) that I seldom can use, because I do not like to show only a tiny portion of it, and that is often the case with a background paper. I cut the butterflies from aother paper in the same collection. I also used the CB embossing folder (Argyle) as an anchor.
Sketch: http://skippingstonesdesign.com/
The easy one - a favorite color. Today, it is turquoise. It will probably be different tomorrow! Furthermore, I do not use a lot of green, but this is a shade I really like! http://doyoustackup.blogspot.com/
The butterflies are QuickKutz, and the gem is from Pizzazz Aplenty.
