Lighthouse for Hal

This is especialy for DH's brother - he and his wife really enjoy the Oregon coast, and he frequently travels to the far east as a volunteer teaching English and otherwise helping in a small orphanage - I picked the part of this abstract map that kind of shows that region.  The image, new to me is SU Coast to Coast.  I used dies for his name.

Final Love Fest 2014

This card completes an entry for the last of the Love Fest challenges at SplitCoastStampers - though I have some catching up to do on additional entries for a few of the categories.
Supplies:  Costco double sided cs; unnamed stamp; Charm ("faith" by Pizzazz Aplenty; pale green ribbon, half pearls.
Technique:  I used scoring for the horizontal elements at the bottom of the panels - it does not show too well here, however.  I also scored the corners of the sentiment layer.

So many layers!

Here is another card for the Love Fest challenge at SplitCoastStampers - I am also going to add the cards to my gallery there.  I hope I did this sketch challenge correctly - lots of banner type layers!  This is for an inspiration challenge, and it gave me a chance to use this print - part of a grab bag of DP - lots of pretty papers but they are not always easy to use.  The banners use other prints from the same collection.  The fence is by Memory Box and the leaves from Cheery Lynn.

100 cards in 100 days - 28 in Febr.

I was nearly behind in completing a card a day - 100 in 100 days, so I am tryng to catch up.  However, I need to confess - I am not doing so well on the second part of the challenge - no purchase of new items.  I found two items of interest at yard sales today.  I got some ribbon - including a packet of lace for $.05!  At another site, I found some stamps - only bought one SU set (with herbs).  Back to my buying diet tomorrow!
I think I used most of the colors from the color challenge at Classy Cards - I used the oval Spellbinders dies she has available - she has so many lovely items - see the link below.  The image is Verve, and the sentiment has no label.  Other:  sheer ribbon, pale rose gems, Washi tape.
