Last graduation card?

Hat image by QKR Stampede; star embossing folder by Cuttlebug; scallop punch;  Spellbinder circle dies; sentiment from a scrap of DP; Washi tape.
Method:  I like this idea for the right edge of the card.  As per sketch, I punched the scallops.  I wrapped a length of Washi tape (I used 3/8 inch wide) all around the inside edge of the card - so it adds interest to both the inside and the back of the card.

DT card for QKR Stampede challenge #295 - Anything Goes

This will go to a special member of our church who is having some health issues.  The QKR Stampede digital image is called "At the park"; the sentiment is from their sister company - Eureka stamps.  We invite you to participate in our weekly anything goes challenge - you have until Thursday at 6 p.m. to submit up to 3 items.  You may win images in either category - QKR / Eureka or "other".  I hope to see your creations there.
The image is colored with Prismas. I tore the image and edged it directly from an ink pad for a shabby look - a favorite technique for distressing.   The top layer is a freebie digital from TLC, and the coral mat is dry embossed. For more texture I used an acrylic dot for the center of the Prima flowers.  Sheer ribbon and a bow complete the card.

SplitCoastStampers Teapot Party #489

I have some serious catching up to do with the TeaPot Tuesday RAK challenges at SplitCoastStampers.  I used to be a regular, but have been more of an occasional participant recently.  I need to do better.  This card goes to Martina whose sister, her last family member, recently died, and Martina is lonely.  I used her favorite colors and another favorite, a butterfly.  This scripture, from TLC, seems appropriate.  Information on the TeaPot Party can be found here.

Romantic elements

Typically - I stored my Valentine papers so well that I did not run across them until February 17!  I decided to use bits of this dp with red and scrolly looking hearts - though most is covered  up.  The embossing is Victoria (Cuttlebug).  Other items:  Image by Our Daily Brad, colored with metallic pens and Brilliance inks (Using an aqua pen); Spellbinders Majestic Elements ovals; flowers, half pearls, and bits of lace.

Chalked Thanksgiving card

This Sizzix EF is great for Thanksgiving/fall cards.  I cut the embossed piece a bit to fit an A2 card.  Since I wanted to try coloring in more detail than I usually do, I decided not to add embellishments, and I stamped the JustRIte sentiment (in rust) directly on the main layer.   I sponged a number of different colors of chalk (SU)  - blues and browns for the sky and edges, various fall colors for the leaves, and of course orange for the pumpkins.

Wonder Woman #2

As I mentioned earlier, several residents of our RV park request cards.  This is the second Wonder Woman card I have made - kind of an inside joke for my friend!  I found this on free clip art.  I backed her with some scraps of patriotic papers I have - to go with her outfit.
