Nails Inc. 512 Noho (Bling It On Rebel)

Nails Inc. je brend koji sam aktivno izbegavala dok je bio dostupan kod nas jer mi boje nisu bile zanimljive, a cena im je bila previsoka. Na moju sreću, a uvoznikovu žalost, prodaja očigledno nije išla sjajno sam ovaj set kupila upola cene, ako ne i za svega trećinu cene. Bling It On Rebel je set u kome se nalaze lak u nijansi Noho, superlepak i različite dekoracije.

Nails Inc. is a brand that I actively avoided while it was available in Serbia because colours were not interesting to me, and I found them to be overpriced. Fortunately for me, not for the importer, the sales obviously weren't great, so I managed to get this set at half if not even a third of the price. Bling It On Rebel is a set containing polish in shade Noho, superglue and various decorations.

Zoya Godiva

Posle niza upadljivih i jakih boja sam želela da nosim nešto mirnije na noktima, a pritom i da sprovedem mali eksperiment sa teksturisanim lakovima te sam posegnula za Godivom. Pre pet godina sam zažalila što je nisam uzela (i potom uzela Tomoko kao utehu), ali mi se posrećilo kada je Jeca odlučila da smanji svoju kolekciju te je Godiva ipak našla put do mene.

After a succession of strong, bold colours, I wanted to wear something more subtle on my nails, and also to conduct an experiment with textured polishes, so I reached for Godiva. Five years ago I regretted not getting it in time (and bought Tomoko as consolation), but I lucked out when Jeca decided to destash some of her collection so a bottle of Godiva did find its way to me.

Wycon Sugar Effect 808 Blu Glitter

Ne znam zašto nisam ranije objavila ovaj članak, imajući u vidu da sam slike snimila još 2017. godine i da je Wycon u međuvremenu stigao u Srbiju. No to sada nije važno. Važno je da su nažalost za proizvođače teksturci bili samo prolazni trend za sezonu-dve, a meni su među omiljenim lakovima i za njima posežem kada ne znam šta bih namazala.

I don't know why I haven't published this post earlier considering that I have taken these photos in 2017. and that Wycon has since come to Serbia. However, that doesn't matter. What matters is that, sadly, textured polishes were just a fad for manufacturers, and they turned out to be among my favourite polishes and that they are my go-tos whenever I don't know what to wear on my nails.

Ko me duže prati zna da redovno učestvujem u festivalima i konvencijama koje organizuje NVO Sakurabana, a poslednja manifestacija na kojoj sam bila je Pottermania pre skoro mesec dana. Pošto nisam ljubitelj serijala o Hariju Poteru, svesno sam htela da izbegnem da nosim lak u boji neke od kuća. Those of you who've been following my blog for some time know that I regularly take part in conventions organised by Sakurabana NGO, and the last one I visited was PotterMania nearly a month ago. Since I am not a big fan of series about Harry Potter, I wanted to avoid wearing polish in colour of any of houses. So purple was a natural choice and Carter the first and only polish I reached for.

Još jedna kolekcija Zoya lakova koju sam željno iščekivala je Enchanted, pre svega zbog novih Pixie Dust nijansi jer su Zoya teksturci moji omiljeni teksturci. Another Zoya collection that I was eagerly awaiting was Enchanted, mostly because of new PixieDust shades. After all, PixieDusts are my favourite textured polishes. Enchanted was holiday 2016. collection and consists of four textured and two classic polishes. They retail for $10 and are worth every penny.

We've been doing Skittlette manis time and time again, but fortunately this is the theme I can do over and over again without getting bored with it.

Matching Manicures - Red

This is the third time we have colour red as theme for our matching manis. Even though red is one of my favourite colours and I don't lack appropriate polishes, I found it a bit difficult to come up with an attractive mani that we haven't done before considering that we've already done this theme twice before. I hope you'll like my take on it.

Prošle nedelje sam provela par dana u Rimu i krajnje neočekivano sam uspela da uđem u nekoliko parfimerija i uzmem koji lak, uključujući ovaj. Wycon (nekada Wjcon) je italijanski brend za koji nikada ranije nisam čula, ali dosta me podsećaju na Kiko. Pošto su u ponudi imali nekoliko veoma zanimljivih teksturnih lakova, odlučila sam da im dam šansu. Pakovanja lakova su od 10 ml, a cena je oko 4€. Koliko sam mogla da vidim, nema ih van Italije.

Last week I spent a couple of days in Rome and I even managed to visit a make-up store or two and get several polishes, including this one. Wycon (formerly Wjcon) is an Italian brand I haven't heard of before, but they remind me of Kiko quite a lot. They have some very interesting textured polishes, so I decided to give them a chance. Polishes come in 10 ml bottles and retail for about €4. They don't seem to be available outside of Italy.

Još uvek je neizvesno da li će nam i kada stići nove kolekcije Zoya lakova i zbog toga mislim da je red podsetiti se onih boja koje nam jesu dostupne. Do 1. oktobra možete iskoristiti sniženje i kupiti Matte i PixieDust lakove za 551 dinara, odnosno 495 dinara ako su iz klasične linije. Ovo sniženje važi u UltraSun maloprodajnim objektima i na sajtu. Moguće je da će i na sajmu biti nekih popusta ili posebnih ponuda, ali za sada ništa nije tačno određeno.

Our importer has given quite a big discount on Zoya polishes, which is nearing its end now, and I am yet to show you colours I've picked. Since we do not know when and if the new collections will be imported, it would only be in order to review some of the shades that are readily available.

Ne znam kako se desilo da od četiri odlična Look by Bipa teksturca koja mi je Suzana zimus poslala, čak tri nisam pokazala. Tu grešku ispravljam odmah sada odmah. Look by Bipa je robna marka Bipa drogerija, kojih znam da ima u Austriji, Hrvatskoj i Nizozemskoj, verovatno i drugde. Ovi peskasti lakovi dolaze u pakovanju od 7 ml, a cena im je oko € 2.

I don't know how it happened that I haven't shown you three out of four great Look by Bipa textured polishes that Suzana sent me for last winter's holidays. I am going to correct that mistake right now. Look by Bipa is Bipa store house brand. I know they have shops in Austria, Croatia and the Netherlands, probably elsewhere as well. These gritty polishes come in 7 ml bottles and retail for about € 2.

Avon Magic Effects Mineral Crush Diamond

Avon retko ima u ponudi lakove koji mi se sviđaju, ali kako sam slaba na teksturce, onda sam neminovno obratila pažnju na njihovu kolekciju Mineral Crush. Ovi lakovi se trenutno mogu nabaviti po ceni od 460 dinara za 10 ml laka, ali ne sumnjam da su često mogu kupiti u sklopu neke posebne ponude ili po sniženoj ceni. Mala Palčica je zaslužna za to što se ovaj našao u mojoj kolekciji i hvala joj na tome. :)

I seldom care about Avon polishes, because they rarely have something that I might like, but having a fondness for textured polishes I couldn't fail to pay attention to their Mineral Crush collection. This one came to my collection thanks to Mala Palčica.

p2 Sand Style 090 Opulent

Vratila sam se sa prinudnog odmora od blogovanja (i generalno od računara) i za danas sam spremila članak o jednom od lakova koji mi poduže stoje neisprobani. p2 lakovi su nam nažalost nedostupni i zato ovih nekoliko koje imam trošim tako nerado. No ako ih ne isprobam, onda zaista ničemu ne služe i zato ću se potruditi da u narednom periodu kombinujem prikazivanje svežih, aktuelnih lakova sa onima koji to više nisu.

I am back from my forced leave from blogging (and computer in general) and I have prepared for today another post about a polish that has been untried for quite awhile. p2 polishes are sadly unavailable outside of Germany, which is why I am hesitant to use them. However, if they are just sitting untried, they are of no use to me, so I shall try in future to combine posts about fresh, current polishes with those about polishes that no longer are that.

Alessandro Royal Stars kolekcija se pojavila u jesen 2014. godine i činila su je tri seta za nail art, tri gela i tri gel laka. Setovi se sastoje iz dva laka od po 5 ml, lepka i jednog ukrasa. Lakovi u njima su kombinacija jednog metalika i jednog laka/nadlaka sa posebnim efektom, a ukrasi se razlikuju i po boji i po obliku. Alessandro Royal Stars collection was from autumn 2014. and it consisted of three nail art sets, three gels and three gel polishes. Sets consisted of two 5 ml nail polishes, nail glue and a metal decoration. Polishes an all three sets are a combination of a metallic polish and a special effect polish/top coat. Decorations differ in both colour and shape. While this was a limited edition collection, it is still available in some web shops.

I don't know about you, but I am so happy nicer weather finally started, despite it being quite chilly. Matching Manicures - Metallic

Današnja tema je jedna od najlakših za mene jer imam zaista mnogo metalik lakova, ali sam trenutno malo zbunjena po pitanju svojih metalik sklonosti. Naime, otkrila sam čari mesinga i htela sam da uradim nešto inspirisano nakitom koji sam nedavno kupila, ali nisam mogla da tu zamisao sprovedem u delo jer imam samo jedan lak takve boje i skoro ništa što se sa njim uklapa. Zato sam se vratila svojim hladnim metalnim tonovima za jednostavan manikir.

Today's theme is one of the easiest ones for me because I have so many metallic polishes, but I am currently a bit confused regarding my metallic affinities. I have discovered charms of brass and I wanted to do something inspired by jewellery I have recently bought, but I couldn't do it because I only have one polish that matches the coloour and barely anything else that would complement it. Therefore, I returned to my cool-toned metals for a simple mani.

Today a part of the world is celebrating one of great consumerist holidays, one of many dates I don't care about. Since Valentine's Day mani theme is requested every year for Matching Manicures I will not be a spoilsport, but I'll take part in my own way.

Today we are matching our manis using different shades of purple and violet. Even though I have a lot of purple polishes it was difficult for me to think up a mani - partly because the theme as such, partly because of my mood and partly because of my other engagements. However, I did manage to put something together and I hope you'll like it.

Proletos sam u Beču nabasala na Misslyn lakove privlačnih boja i odabrala sam nekoliko za sebe, a nekoliko za vas. Dok su neki od nagradnih već uveliko nošeni, ovi moji su stajali i čekali da ih se setim. Sivo, oblačno, tmurno vreme me je navelo da posegnem za ovim Misslyn antidepresivom. Last spring while I was in Vienna I came upon Misslyn nail polishes in attractive colours and I have picked several fr myself and several for you. While some of the ones that became a prize got to be worn, mine have remained untried and waited for me to remember them. Grey, cloudy, murky weather we've been having these days was a call for me to reach for this Misslyn antidepressant. Today we are wearing one of the cheeriest colours - orange. My mani is simple, as usual, but I hope you'll like it nevertheless.
