Matching Manicures - Teal

Nova nedelja, nova tema. Ovog puta nosimo petrolej lakove. Ugrabila sam koji minut da iskombinujem dva i uradim ovaj jednostavan i brz, a nadam se zanimljiv manikir.

New Sunday, new theme. This time we are wearing teal polishes. I took this opportunity to combine two of them in this fast and easy, and hopefully interesting mani.

OPI Hot & Spicy

Proletos su me na sajmu iz OPI korpice dozivali narandžasti lakovi, a ja sam poklekla pred jednim od njih i ponela ga kući. Ime mu je Hot & Spicy i kada sam ga videla na prirodnom svetlu malo sam se razočarala u svoj izbor. Umesto prigušene narandžaste kreme (kako mi je pod osvetljenjem u hali izgledao), dobila sam naranžasti koralac. Zbog toga sam i čekala ovoliko dugo da ga uopšte probam. This spring at cosmetics expo there were several orange OPIs waving at me from the discount bin and I gave in and brought one of them home with me. He's name is Hot & Spicy and after seeing it in natural light I was a little disappointed with my choice. Instead of muted orange creme, as it looked to me under artificial light, what I ended up with is an orange-leaning coral creme. That is why I had waited this long to try it. OPI A Roll in the Hague

Posle zelenih, plavih i sivih lakova, sada su narandžasti lakovi stigli na red da ustanovim tačno koje mi nijanse odgovaraju. To mi je najlakše da uradim tako što ću uzeti najmanje pakovanje laka koje mogu da nađem, a manjih od OPI beba mislim da nema (3,75 ml). U pojedinim Prima apotekama su zimus mogli da se kupe pojedinačni miniji po ceni od dvestotinak dinara. Ne znam da li se i dalje ovako prodaju, ali vredi ih potražiti ako vam se nekada desilo da želite da uzmete samo jedan lakić iz nekog seta. Šanse da ćete ga naći nisu baš male.

After green, blue and grey nail polishes, now it is time for me to find out which shades of orange suit me. I find that easiest to do by getting the smallest bottle of polish I can find and I think there are no smaller bottles than OPI babies (3.75 ml).

Koliko god govorila i ponavljala da nisam ženstvena devojka i da me ženskasti motivi generalno ne privlače, na cveće sam slaba. Kako na pravo cveće, koje uglavnom bezuspešno pokušavam da gajim na terasi, tako i na cvetne motive na odeći, u kosi, na noktima... Zbog toga sam odabrala i ovu pločicu.

As much as I keep saying that I'm not a girly girl and that I am generally not attracted to feminine motifs, I do have a soft spot for flowers. For real flowers, that I mostly unsuccessfully try to keep on my balcony, as well as for floral motifs on clothing, in hair, on nails... That is why I chose this image plate.

MoYou Nails 71

Pločica koju vam danas predstavljam je od onih sa malim, pojedinačnim slikama, koje mi generalno nisu među omiljenima. No ova konkretna pločica je veoma zanimljiva i to ne samo zbog samih motiva koji se na njoj nalaze već zato što tri motiva imaju svoje pandane za pun nokat na MoYou Nails 86. Sviđa mi se što MoYou Nails ponekada pravi ovakvu vezu između pločica jer to može, ako imate obe pločice, dati zanimljive kombinacije u manikirima. The image plate I am showing you today is one of those with small individual images, the sort I generally don't like. But this particular plate is quite interesting and not only because of the choice of images, but because three of them have full nail counterparts on MoYou Nails 86. I like how MoYou Nails sometimes connects plates like this because, if you have both plates, you can create some particularly interesting manis. I have decided not to show you those this time and instead to showcase other four designs.

In the latest package from MoYou Nails I have received three polishes by Nella Milano along with stamping polishes and stamping plates. These polishes are made in Italy. Nedavno mi je, posle nekih peripetija, stigao veliki paket sa MoYou Nails pločicama i lakovima za pečatiranje. After some vicissitudes a package with nail polishes, stamping polishes and image plates from MoYou Nails had reached me some short while ago. It would have been difficult to decide which stamping plate to try first if it weren't for a comment on Ana.rs that had settled the matter. That is why today I present to you the plate #86. I won't be doing separate posts about stamping polishes because I shall write about them in posts about image plates.

Simples - Week 4 - Saran wrap mani

Ove nedelje je tema Simples manikira manikir rađen uz pomoć celofana. Jednom sam radila ovakav manikir za Matching Manicure i nije mi se dopao, a i ovog puta mi je utisak isti. Koristila sam Nella Milano lakove u nijansama Mango i Turquoise, koje sam dobila sa MoYou Nails sajta. Uskoro ćete videti i recenzije ovih lakova. Nadlak koji sam koristila im je malo promenio boju na slikama.

This week's Simples theme is saran wrap mani. I have done this sort of manicure once for Matching Manicure and I didn't like the technique and my opinion hasn't changed. I have used Nella Milano polishes in Mango and Turquoise, sent to me for review by MoYou Nails. You will see reviews soon. Top coat I have used has changed their shades in photos.
