θαυμάσας οὖν τὴν λαμπρότητα καὶ
φιλανθρωπίαν ὁ Ἄκουφις ἠρώτα τί βούλεται ποιοῦντας αὐτοὺς ἔχειν
φίλους. φήσαντος δὲ τοῦ Ἀλεξάνδρου, ‘σὲ μὲν ἄρχοντα
καταστήσαντας αὑτῶν, πρὸς δὲ ἡμᾶς πέμψαντας ἑκατὸν ἄνδρας τοὺς
