ἐπιὼν δὲ τὴν Βαβυλωνίαν ἅπασαν εὐθὺς ἐπ᾽
αὐτῷ γενομένην ἐθαύμασε μάλιστα τό τε χάσμα τὸν πυρὸς ὥσπερ ἐκ πηγῆς
συνεχῶς ἀναφερομένου, καὶ τό ῥεῦμα τοῦ νάφθα λιμνάζοντος διὰ τὸ πλῆθος
