Tracie Long Training Strength In Movement - Thoughts

Strength in Movement is a Tracie Long Training workout and it is led by Jen Carman. Clocking in at just over 55 minutes, Strength In Movements uses dumbbells (light, medium, and heavy) and a medicine ball to work you through a series of functional fitness type exercises. Along with Jen, there are two background exerciser – one showing beginner type modifications and the other showing more advanced options. There are parts of this workout I really like a lot and parts I didn’t care for at all. There are three cardio segments and each cardio segment uses a medicine ball. The medicine ball is also used in the warm up and in the active stretch segment. Two of the med ball cardio routines I didn’t like. I felt they lack flow and Uummph, but one I really thought flowed well. The weight segments are what I like the best about this workout and that is unusal for me because usually the weight work in Functional Fitness workouts is what I like the least. The FIRM Total Sculpt plus Abs

Total Sculpt Plus Abs is a 55 minute cardio sculpt workout. Jen Carman leads the workouts and it is part of the BSS2 (Body Sculpting System 2) group of workouts. The workout alternates cardio sets and sculpting sets. The cardio is very basic and consist of four-limb, box step,and low impact aerobics. The sculpting sets are sequence so you can go heavy with the workout if you like. BSS2 is the system where The FIRM introduce the sculpting stick which is a three part stick that comes apart. When taken apart, the ends call twigs can be used for 4-limb movement. Put together, the sculpting stick weigh 8lbs. The first sculpting stick I had broke. The middle part literally snap into two. So I ordered a new one and right after that The FIRM came out with a new shorter sculpting stick. BSS2 also uses the fanny lifter. The workout is okay. In many ways it feels like a beginner sculpting class with cardio breaks thrown in between sculpting sets. While I like the BSS2 workouts as a whole, Total...
