                                                                                                   October 2022 Monthly Rotation This October, I will be focusing on Kelly Coffey-Meyer workouts. This is in preparation for the Coffeyfit Road Trip.  After the road trip, I plan to do Jessica Smith and Zumba workouts to round out the month.  I also have Andrea Rogers Xtend Stretch workouts planned.  

Kelly Coffey-Meyer Power Splits - Thoughts

30-Minute to Fitness Power Splits contains two strength based workouts, one working the upper body and the other working the lower body. The DVD Menu Introduction Workout One Workout Two Raw Bonus (Fitness Ladder) Premixes  (There are 5) Credits  Workout 1 is Upper Split . In this workout, Kelly works all 5 muscle groups by choosing one exercise per muscle group.  She does the exercise for three sets before moving on to the next muscle group.  The sets are timed.  You get 50 seconds to perform your reps.  After each set, there is a 15 second rest. ***See worksheet for a list of exercises. After the weight work, Kelly takes you into a 10-Minute Boxing Cardio Finisher Equipment  includes a set of weights, and a step bench that is in a incline position. Kelly Coffey-Meyer CardioFit - Thoughts

30-Minute to Fitness CardoFit contains two interval based workouts.  Kelly alternates cardio segments with a weight segments. The DVD Menu Introduction Workout 1 Workout 2 Raw Bonus (StepBoxing Drills) Premixes (There are six) Credits Workout 1 is Kickboxing . In this workout, Kelly does kickboxing combinations. Typically, she starts with a single move and then add two to three components. You perform the sequence for a series of reps before trying the combination on the other side.  After the kickboxing combination, Kelly takes you into weight work with a lower body focus.  Kelly continues to alternates kickboxing combos with lower body weight work for the remainder of the workout. Love the music and vibe of this workout. Workout 2 is HiLo . In this workout, Kelly alternates HiLo cardio segments with weighted dumbbells segments. February 2022 Monthly Rotation Most of February will be Kelly Coffey-Meyer 30-Minute to Fitness workouts.  My goal for the 30MTF workouts is to go heavy on the weight workouts and to push on the cardio workouts. Other days will be filled with: Sunday - 5K Treadmill runs, followed by 10-Minute Solution Stretch workouts    Monday - Body weight Leg workouts using Ilaria BodyStrike workouts                                   Saturday - Cathe extended stretch workouts I am still doing Autumn's Control Stretch nightly workouts.   August 2021 Monthly Rotation This month was mostly Kelly Coffey Meyer 30-Minute To Fitness workouts. Sundays I threw in a 5K.  And Friday's was Cathe BootCamp workouts. Still, two more 30MTF workouts to do for the month. Thus far, workouts have gone fairly well.

30 Minutes to Fitness BoxFit is lead by Kelly Coffey Meyer. In the Intro, Kelly states that "BoxFit is your trim down and get strong workout". BoxFix is similar to Kelly's earlier workout Cardio Pump in that your have a cardio session that features shadow boxing and a pump session consisting of sculpting with dumbbells.  I like the boxing weight combination style workouts. Kelly Coffey Meyer Super Sculpt - Thoughts

     Super Sculpt is a 30 Minutes to Fitness Workout led by Kelly Coffey Meyer. Along with Kelly, there are two other cast members.  Workout 1 is a split workout. The first 15 minutes is sculpting with light weight. The second 15 minutes is step.  Workout 2 and Workout 3 are tabata style workouts done in two groups of three rounds.  The rounds are band work, light dumbbell work and jump and/or step ups.  Within each round there are 8 segments. Usually the last segment, Kelly uses it as a rest cycle. Kelly Coffey Meyer Strong & Lean

Strong & Lean is a Kelly Coffey Meyer 30-Minute to Fitness workout. The DVD Menu Intro Workout 1: Weights (Strong) Workout 2: Kickboxing (Lean) Bonus Extension Premixes Credits Workout 1 is Weights  and it clocks in at 29  minutes. This workout is broken down into six groupings that focus on a particular body part.  There are three exercises per group.  One exercise uses a barbell,  the next will use dumbbells, and the last move uses resistance tubing. This is a timed workout in that you are working for a certain amount of time, not necessarily a certain amount of reps. The second workout is Kickboxing and it is your cardio/lean workout.  During this part of the workout, Kelly takes you through a series of kickboxing combos and drills for about 33 minutes. Kelly Coffey Meyer Cardio Sculpt Overlaod

Cardio Sculpt Overload is not a traditional Kelly Coffey Meyer 30-Minute Workout.  Kelly uses a different format with this workout. Now, Kelly does give you a 30-minute workout of sorts.  The way the workout is broken down is that there is the main workout, that clocks in at 25:55. After the main workout, you can skip to the stretch which is around 2:33  or you can go on and do an overload segment.  There are three overload segments and they are between 7 and 8 minutes and follow a similar pattern as the main workout. The pattern is interval base with each interval is approximately a minute in length. Kelly Coffey-Meyer Sculpting Rx - Review

Sculpting Rx by Kelly Coffey-Meyer is a 30-Minutes To Fitness DVD that contain two 30-minute sculpting workouts.  The DVD Menu Intro Workout 1 Workout 2 Premixes     Workout 1 & Workout 2 (60:35)     Workout 1: One Set of All Exercises (21:44)     Workout 2: No Cardio Core (26:57)     Workout 1 & 2: Intervaled Body Parts (38:46)     Cardio Core and Floor Finisher (18:45) Credits I did the Workout 1 & Workout 2 Premix and really I didn't care for combining the two. On their own, I think both are good sculpting workouts.  If you do the workouts separately, workout 1 clocks in at 35:55 and workout two at 30:44. Workout 1 is a sculpting workout with the emphasis on heavy lifting.  Essentially, you are doing three circuits. Kelly Coffey-Meyer Build & Burn Disc 3 - Review

Disc 3 from KCM's Build & Burn offers the following DVD options: Intro Trim and Tone Intervals Premix Credits The Intro also appears on disc 1 and disc 2 and it is a one minute and 39 seconds in length. Trim and Tone Intervals is the workout and it clocks in at 24:35.  Kelly slows down the tempo in this workout quite a bit. You are performing most of the moves in a very control manner.  This workout alternates cardio athletic moves with weighted dumbbell moves. You are doing all moves for two sets.  Kelly does offer variation on some of the moves. There are two premixes on this DVD: Cardio Only (14:48) Dumbbells Only (15:06) Trim and Tone Intervals - 4 stars 

Kelly Coffey-Meyer Build & Burn Disc 2 - Review

Disc 2 of KCM's Build & Burn workout system features Lower Body Tabata and Kettle Bell Kickbox fusion. Lower Body Tabata clocks in at 26:31and uses a pair of dumbbells and a band.  There are some exercises where you use your own body weight. After the warm up, you move into the workout where you are doing each exercise for 20 seconds.   Each move is repeated for four sets.  Rest are kept to a minimum. Kettle Bell Kick Box Fusion clocks in at 26:14.   Kelly alternates kettle bell moves with kick box moves.  All moves are performed for 30 seconds and for 2 sets. On many of the moves, prior to the move starting Kelly counts you in with a 4, 3, 2, count. Throughout the workout, Kelly offers tips and modifications you can do. There are two other cast members but no one is really showing any modifications.  Super up tempo music in this one.  You can uses a dumbbell in place of a kettle bell. Kelly Coffey-Meyer Build & Burn - Introduction

Build & Burn is Kelly Coffey-Myers first workout system.  Building on her 30-Minutes To Fitness workouts, Kelly develop 5 workouts on 3 DVDs.  Each workout is less than 30 minutes. Each DVD comes with many premix options. Build & Burn also comes with a 7 day meal plan. I really like the set for this group of workouts.  The set is clean, crisp and bright.  I also enjoyed the music in all the workouts. I will review the workouts in a separate blog post.

Abs & Core is a compilation workout by Kelly Coffey-Meyer.  Kelly pulled six ab/core workouts from her 30-Minute To Fitness series workouts to give you a well rounded in-depth core and ab workout.  There are standing segments and floor segments. I did these workouts as add-on workouts; and I didn't remember doing any of the segments when I did the original workouts they came from.  So I think this was my first time doing all of these segments. Kelly Coffey Meyer Body Design - Thoughts

Body Design features six 15 minute workouts each emphazising a different training technique. The idea is to choose any two segments plus warm up and cool down for a 30-Minute to Fitness workout.   The DVD menu offers the following options : Intro Play All Mix & Match Premixes Credits In Mix & Match, you can select: Warm up (4:02) Cardio Bootcamp  (12:02) Kickboxing With Light Dumbbells (12:08) Light Dumbbell Cardio Sculpting (12:15) Stronger/Leaner Lower (14:40) Upper Body Strength (16:47) Yoga Flow Stretch (13:16) Cool Down (3:08) Some Notes. 1. Kelly Coffey-Meyer Meltdown - Thoughts

30 Minutes to Fitness Meltdown features two very distinct workouts.  Each workout clocks in right under 28 minutes each. Workout one is a dumbbell/barbell workout that takes you through a series of three rounds.  The dumbbell exercises are compound or dynamic in nature. You are doing the dumbbell exercises for 1 minutes. The barbell exercises are power moves.  You do each of the power moves for 10 reps.  There is one body weight exercise.  At then end of round 3, Kelly throws in a finisher exercise. Workout two is tabata boxing.  There are 6 rounds featuring three boxing complexes. In each round you have a right lead and a left lead. After you do both sides, Kelly throws in a cardio based exercise before moving onto the next round.  There are bells that sound that let you know when you are approaching the end of  the 20 seconds.  Bob and weave is your 10 second transition move. Amped-Up Cardio 30-Minutes To Fitness DVD contains the live workouts that Kelly filmed at her Fitness Conference she had this past spring. The DVD contains two 30 minute workouts that are similar in nature. Kelly Coffey Meyer Athletic Conditioning Volume 2 - Thoughts

Athletic Conditioning Volume 2 is a 30 Minute to Fitness workout that is part of Kelly's Young Adult series. This workout features two distinct workout. Workout 1 is a conditioning workout where you are doing twelve exercises for 10 reps each with a relatively short break between each exercise.  You do this for three rounds.  After each round you get a brief towel and water break before the next round. Workout 1 has around a 3 minute warm up.  It moves quick and there is not a lot of setup time for the exercise.  Throughout the workout, Kelly points out various modifications to some of the exercises that you can do in place of the move  she is performing.  Workout 2   is an abdominal and flexibility workout and it is all floor based.  The description of this workouts talks about "fusing" the two styles together to strengthen the core and increase flexibility.  I was expecting the workout to be one core exercise followed by one flex...
