Christmas Step-Ups Card by Anna

Happy Friday everyone,

Today, I am sharing a Christmas card that I have created using Sizzix Framelits Die Set 21PK - Card, Basic Step-Ups and FREE Christmas Papers Downloads!

I was looking this cute die and I thought it would look cute with snowflakes.

The die is easy to use: Die-cut the Basic Step-Ups Card out of cardstock and fold along crease lines to assemble. Die-cut the panels out of patterned paper and attach to the Card base.

For this card it's just a case of using the dies to cut the snowflakes, printing (or stamping) the sentiment and adding some rhinestone for some sparkle.

Buon Venerdì a tutti,

Oggi vorrei condividere con voi un biglietto per gli auguri di Natale, che ho creato con Sizzix Framelits Die Set 21PK - Card, Basic Step-Ups e le carte digitali messe a diposizione da Sizzix FREE Christmas Papers Downloads.

Osservando questa simpatica fustella, ho pensato che sarebbe stato carino darle un look invernale e natalizio con i fiocchi di neve, usando altre bellissime fustelle naturalmente! :)

La fustella base è facile da usare e da piegare: fustellare la Basic Step-up Card dal cartoncino bianco e piegare lungo le linee; tagliare con i pezzi del set anche i pannelli di carta fantasia e incollare sulla base.

Questa card l'ho abbellita con le carte messe a disposizione da Sizzix e scricabili gratis qui.

Poi ho aggiunto i fiocchi di neve. Il fiocco principale, più grande, è composto da vari fiocchi sovrapposti ed è incollato su di un filo bianco attorcigliato.

Ho stampato la scritta con l'augurio, che ho tagliato a mo' di banner ed infine aggiunto qualche strass per dare tocchi di luce.

'Happy Birthday' Step Up Card.

Hi there!
I would like to show you a recent card I made using one of the new framelits dies.
I have never made a card like that before and was eager to try it when the die arrived in my mailbox.

Here is a picture of it:

It was really easy to make. I started by diecutting the large cardbase. It comes out with all the marks  and creases that you need. So you can trust the card will not be crooked and turn out equally nice each and every time. There are actually different sets of step up cards, but as you see I decided upon the birthday one.

At first I made all the bends of the card following the pre made creases.
Then I glued down the smaller die cut pieces that serve to embellish the card.
I inked around the edges with a light coloured inkpad.

Maybe this shot gives you a better idea of how the card is put together.
I know I will probably make quite a few more step up cards as they are pretty quick to make once you've made the first one. And they can also be varied with different kinds of embellishments.
You should give them a try .-)

Hej där!
I dag vill jag gärna visa er ett kort som jag gjort med ett av de nya  framelits setten.
Jag har inte provat att göra ett sådant trapp-kort innan så jag var mycket nyfiken på det när jag fick diesen i lådan :-)

Såhär blev det:
Det var ganska enkelt att göra. Jag startade med att göra den stora basen för kortet. Den stansas klar med alla veck etc som behövs. På så sätt vet du att alla korten blir likadana och inget blir snett. det finns olika sett men jag har valt ett som är speciellt för födelsedagar.

Först bockade jag till alla kortets veck. Det gick lätt eftersom det mesta arbetet gjorts redan av diesen. Sedan limmade jag dit tect, ballonger etc för att pynta kortet. Innan jag limmade fast dom så inkade jag runt kanten med en ljus stämpeldyna.

Denna bilden ger kanske en bättre ide om hur kortet kommer till.
Jag kommer helt säkert att göra fler trappkort med tanke på hur lätt det är när man väl provat.
Man kan variera korten också genom att använda andra utstansade motiv och pynt.
Varför inte prova!!? :-)
