Let me see that if you want to create your own journaling cards the framelits rectangles are spectacular!!!! So let's start!!!

Materials you need:

I had a lot of fun creating and assembling my first week, full of details and things to tell and to keep, bad and lovely moments but I think this is the real life! Don't you find?
I love to mix many little details and especially to can create them by me, sizzix dies are perfect for my intention! First of all you can create your own journaling card simply printing on a white paper what you want and after cutting it making a journaling card with the amazing framelits rectangles.

Let me show you my first week and some details of it :)

I love so much to tell about my life, to tell true stories, even if they are not always so happy, it can happen and you have to not be afraid of this! Tell you real life, tell about your own story!

For this phrase I have printed it with my printer on a white cardstock and then used the rectangles framelits to have a lovely journaling card!

For this page I have used the numbers, amazing!!! and the framelits butterflies!! Two kinds of them! Mixed are perfect!

This is the right side :) I had a lof to tell Lol! I have used the harlequin decorative strip to make a lovely background :)

What do you think? Hope it will inspire you and make you happy to start your own project life 2013!!!

May all you dreams come really true and say you a big thank you for reading me and encouraging me every single week :) If I could I embrace you all! The 2012 was an amazing year for many reasons and I'll keep it in my heart forever!

Today I want to show you something about my new treasure! I love it so much, I consider it my treasure really! My December Daily Album. Today I'll show you only the cover so If you want to see more... stay tuned and in this week you will see more and more :) ihhihihihihi

Materials you need:

I love this mini... have I said it? :)
Have you finished your december daily mini album?

I would something to embellish my cover but to not fill it too much. Something like a title or similar.
So I thought to create a label for my book and nothing was better than to use the framelits :) I have create a big label book using the kraft cardboard. I have cut it on the cardboard and on a leftover of patterned paper.

I want to show you it complete....

Embellish your label with stamps, I have stamped "celebrating december using the amazing stamps from the studio calico kit, I have turned around it on the right side of it, the twine and I have added a christmas bell making a knot.

I have cut two snowflakes with the right framelits, one from the white cardstock and another from the vellum, and place them one on the another, add the brad in the center and apply it to the cover with the hot glue.

I have finally applied it with the hot gun glue to the cover. Insert your embellishments , like some adhesive pearls and gems, a little blackboard, and a banner :)

I hope you like it :)

Have a wonderful new year full of all you dream and stay tuned to see the inside of my album :)

Merry Christmas Stockings

Hello everyone!!! It's Christmas Eve, the most enjoyable day of the year! I adore this day I don't know why, I think for its magical atmosphere!!!! I always think that something incredible can happen today like in the best christmas movies!!!! LOL

First of all I wish you all a very merry and bright Christmas! I wish you an amazing Christmas full of joy, family, health and all your desires came true from the deep of my heart!!!

Today I want to share with you a lovely project to do at last minute as well :)
Christmas Stockings!!!

Materials you need:

Let's go... they are very simple to build and adorable to donate as a little gift. You can also think to use them as place cards for your christmas table this night :)
You can use the sewing machine or decide to hand stitch :) as you prefer :)

Here they are in fabric and paper versions:) Aren't they so adorable?

Paper Stocking

Step 1
Cut  four different stockings in kraft and white paper and mix their pieces to create a lovely color combination. I mixed kraft and white card stock and added red and gold embellishments.

Step 2
Sew every single piece and once you have created the two stocking  sew them together leaving the top opened and insert the padding :)

Step 3
Embellish them! I cut a little primitive star from the gold glitter paper and sticked it on a white little tag.
Cut a snowflake from white card stock and add an adhesive pearl on its centre. Finally another kraft little tag from maya road and stamp your greetings:) I used Tecnique Tuesday stamps from Ali Edwards:)
Add twine and velvet red ribbon to finish the stocking. At the end the wood button with hot gun glue.

Fabric Stocking

the process is perfectly the same of the paper stocking but I have added the christmas bells and the rings to use them like keychains.
Pay attention when you die cut the fabric stockings because there will be one for the back and another for the front of the stocking. Fabric is different from the paper because has a reverse ;)

Have a wonderful, amazing, merry and bright Christmas:)
Love you all, Lory

Lovely handmade tags

Hellooooo, how are you? Christmas is very close!!! OMG! Have you finished to make everything for your family and friends?  I'm having a lot of fun creating something handmade to donate to who I love so much!

Today I want to show you some tags I made using the fantastic sizzix products mixed to lovely other materials.

Materials you need:

This is a very good way to use your paper leftovers, we have always a lot of them wherever! ;)

First of all create your tags, I used the Sizzix Bigz Pro Die - POcket page and tag (657162) die even if it should not appear the main use ;)
Simply create the background for your tags, I have used my color sprays.
Add some pieces of old book paper. Apply at the end of each tag some paper leftovers :) this is a good way to make you feel good to have not waste materials :) LOL
Cut a scallop heart with kraft paper and add some stickers and letter stickers for the greetings.
I have stamped the figure I would like to insert on the tag and with needle and threads I have remarked the drawing:) Like I have done with the star :) Don't you find it fabulous?

What do you think?
Create your own tags and let me see them:)
Have a wonderful and creative week

Ok let's start, as I said above I am so excited! I am not a professional sewer but I enjoy so much to use fabrics in my projects and to create something so colorful and sweet to fill my scraproom or my home or to donate to one of my lovely friends:) hihi ^__^

Today we will create a lovely christmas pillow:) I adore how much it is soft!!!

Materials you need:

How to make it:

first of all choose the fabric for your pillow, I have chosen the red one with pink dots.
I had some christmas fabrics with trees drawings so I thought to create a sort of puzzle with the hexagons to remake that drawing.

Cut a stripe of 70 x40 cm and fold it in half.

I have Cut many different hexagons from the christmas trees fabric and I have rebuild the same subjects assembling the hexagons like in the  next figure:

Place the hexagons and the embellishments you would like to insert on the pillow front to try how they will look together before to sew them to the background fabric.

Now you have to sew the hexagons on the front of your pillow cover, one at a time. After cut three medium hexagons from the second fabric, I have chosen a green fabric to mix the colors. Sew them as well. Finally handstitch a wood button, sew the felt label "joy" and a piece of ribbon through a christmas bell. everything on the front cover of your pillow.

At the end make a sort of pocket for your pillow, sewing the two sides , the left and the right on the reverse of your fabric.

insert you ikea pillow inside the bag you have just created and sew the top side with a normal stitching point:)

You will donate it or enjoy it for christmas :)
Have you had fun with it? I hope you like it :)

Love, Lory

Hexagons Curtain for your scraproom

Hello everyone!
How are you? Happy Monday!!!! I love to start my week with a creative project to show and share with you all. I'd like to have some feedbacks from you to know what do you think and to discuss about how amazing and useful are the sizzix products! Do you want?

Today I want to show you a new sewing creation, an embellishment for the curtain in my scrap room.

Materials I used:

How to make it

STEP1
first of all choose you favorite fabrics and make many hexagons in different sizes to mix together like in the following figure.

STEP 2
You can decide to use your sewing machine to stitch them to the curtain or hand stitch , like you prefer.
I have used the sewing machine sewing them to the curtain in their centre. At the end, embellish it adding buttons.

It's really funny and very simple. I love to play with fabrics and you?

I want to remember you that for this week Sizzix holds a quilting blog Hop with amazing projects and ideas to share with you all, my project will be showed this saturday so stay tuned ;)
