Words and Pastell Colors

Hey guys,
I´m back with a non-halloween-or-autumn-card. Just a card to say a friend of mine, that she is awesome. :) It was so easy to create this card! And I hope you like it.

I love all the different materials on this card, you can see wood, twine, enamel dots and of course an heat embossed sentiment. It´s super fun to mix all of those things up together.

Here is my list of supplies that I used:
Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit (White & Gray) #660515
Sizzix Bigz XL Alphabet Die - Word Play #657837

Hope you have a nice weekend! xo Julia

50th wedding anniversary card

Hi Sizzix friends!!!

Some days ago a couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. It’s an important milestone in their lives that they wanted to celebrate so I created a greeting card with an inside pocket for the present.

I’ve played with white and gold colour because in my country this anniversary is called “the gold wedding” and of course with lots of Sizzix dies !!!

It’s a big card sized 13,5 x 19,5 cm. To create it I’ve used the round circles Framelits, the leaves 660821 and 660822, Heartfelt and the Alphanumeric Thinlits. For the background I’ve used the embossing folder Plus Happy Texture.

Some pictures of the details with some explanations:

First I’ve die-cut the circle on the background white cardstock (that is 5mm smaller than the card size) creating a round hole on the cardstock and then I’ve made the embossment.

Then I’ve die-cut the round sparkly frame using two sizes of circle dies. The flowery paper is between the card and the white embossed cardstock.

I’ve die-cut two hearts in white cardstock and then I’ve repeated the same process that I’ve used for the frame to create the rings.

I’ve also die-cut a pair of leaves in white cardstock to give volume.

When you open the card there is a pocket that contains an envelope. To decorate the pocket I’ve die-cut the names of the couple in sparkly paper using the alphanumeric die.

Here are the envelope details:

I’ve die-cut this white heart and made the embossment so I can use it as the closure of the envelope.

I’ve created this envelope using vellum paper.

Here is the top view of the wedding card I’ve created for the celebration:

I have used the following Sizzix products:

Other supplies:
  • White cardstock
  • Scrapbooking paper
  • Sparkly paper
  • Vellum paper
  • Gold chipboard numbers
  • Gold string

I hope you have enjoyed this clean and simple wedding anniversary card and that it has given you a bit of inspiration. Thank you for your visit!

Have a creative and happy Friday!

He utilizado los siguientes productos Sizzix:

Otros materiales:
  • White cardstock
  • Scrapbooking paper
  • Sparkly paper
  • Vellum paper
  • Gold chipboard numbers
  • Gold string

Feliz y creativo viernes

Zombie Eyes

Hey guys,
after showing you some christmas cards the last weeks, I have a really easy halloween card for you. You just need your watercolors, white cardstock and a brush. :) And of course, the Sizzix Big Shot Plus Machine Only (White & Gray) #660020 and the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles #657551.

  1. Draw some circles in different colors and very important: BE MESSY. These will be the zombie eyes for our card. Let it dry!
  2. Now use black watercolor to add the pupil of the eyes. I made some circles and stripes in different sizes. This looks more spooky! ;)
  3. Cut them out with your Big Shot Plus and put them onto your card. I decided to place a fun sentiment between them.
That´s it! :)

The fun fact about this card is, that you just imagine zombie eyes on this card at the second sight. My husband was like "oh, what a beautiful pattern" and than he realized what it really was. ;)

I hope I could inspire you to create your own spooooooky cards. :)
Have a nice day, xo Julia

Christmas Card Prototype #2

Hey guys,
how was your week? I´m still in progress creating prototypes for my christmas card this year. Using a lot of different Sizzix dies. This week I made a christmas-word-background with the holiday words. Maybe I´ll try some more colors for this kind of card. What do you think?

I love the colors of the sequins. They fit perfectly to christmas cards. I am a bit into violet and lavender this year. ;)

For a little more "glimmer" on my card, I used goldglitter watercolor to decorate the star.

My list of supplies that I used:
Watercolors in violet, yellow and goldglitter
Star stamp by hero arts
StazOn Ink Pad Tuxedo Black (works perfectly with watercolors)
Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh
Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit (White & Gray) #660515
Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 16PK - Holiday Words 2: Block #660976
Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5PK - Stars #657567

What will your cards look like this year? I´m curious about what you will make. :)
Have a nice weekend, xo Julia

Sparkle & Shine Christmas cards

Hi Everyone! This is Anna.
I cannot believe we have reached October already! Maybe it isn’t such a strange idea to be thinking about Christmas cards right now ;)
Here are two cards that I created using some Thinlits dies from Winter Wonderland collection by Craft Asylum.
When I make Christmas cards, I tend to like to use non-traditional Christmas colors…

For this card, I started with my pink base, that I created with spray ink.
I die cut the deer from gold glitter paper. I added the sentiment from the same collection. I die cut "joy" from card and then I glued above vellum banner.
Isn't the deer so cute?

For this card, I used the new Christmas trees dies. I love the little trees in this set! The sentiment is from the same collection. I die cut it from white paper and glue above vellum, to create the feeling of a chilly card.
I added tiny stars and rhinestone.

Ciao a tutti!

Ho aggiunto quindi qualche stellina e uno strass.

Buon week end!
Al prossimo Venerdì!
