It's really fun scrapping a little book ! I really love playing with small details !

I used my Sizzix Dies as a finishing touch, for the decoration part.
The die “ Hello” is just perfect to welcome me in the nice island called Syros ! I advice you to glue it with a spray because the die is really cute and thin !

I wanted to bring a little texture to my book so I embossed a white cardstock with an embossing folder. I just add some stamps. Glue with 3D foam for more volume.

Here are some pictures for you !

Thank you for your visit !

Gift wrapping for mother-in-laws birthday....

This week was my mother-in-laws birthday.
It is always difficult to find the right present - so often it add up in a voucher.

And often vouchers aren't really pretty, right?
so I mad my own wrapping for the voucher.

First i embossed a hole 8x12 inch paper with Textured Impressions Plus Embossing Folder (Dots)
which is enclosed at the Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit (White & Gray).
Than i cut out the Sizzix Movers & Shapers L Die - Pillow Box w/Labels.

For sticking the box together i flattened the splice.

Then i cut three of the leaves you can find on the Bigz L Die (Everyday Essentials)
that comes together with the Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit (White & Gray) and cut them
in to single pieces and curled them.

Then fix them with some wire...

Then i brought this little roses together with some leaves and a cute border...

ready...

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Always by Lilith

I have the sweetest husband ever. He helps with the ironing and drives the kids around to their activities at the weekend which means I have more time to prepare my lessons and to get creative. He is a gem. I love making him a card to tell him how grateful I am and how much I love him. This is one of the first cards for 2015.

I used my favourite LEAVES die and an embossing folder for some texture. I love how easy it is to put together a card with a few basic supplies, a die and an embossing folder.

Christmas cards by Karine-Pink style !

Hello,

I am very pleased to be here with you for Christmas! I take the opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas and I hope you will spend enjoyable moments with your family!

Supply list:

Cardstock: American Crafts
Papers: Scrap Plaisir, American Crafts
Glitter Masking Tape: Hema
Metallic dots, pink accent: Ephéméria
Stamp: Craft Origine, Stampers Anonymous
Ink: Black Versafine, Chalk Prima
Others: Cloth

Dies:

658300 :  Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit
660041 :  Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing Folder 2PK-Beaded Garland & Snowflakes Set
659994 :  Sizzix Bigz Die-Snowflakes #3

Here are three Celebration matching cards! I used pattern paper scraps to mat my pictures, Bristol or white cardstock to emboss and bring volume, and glitter cloth to cut the pretty snowflakes!

The recipe is the same for the three cards. I emboss a seasonal pattern: here the pretty garlands and the snowflakes are embossed in a white cardstock. I cut large snowflakes out of seasonal patterned cloth with my Bigz Dies. I add stamped labels, matching masking tape, Ephemeria small metallic dots and we’re done!
The title “Joyeuses Fête” is a Craft Origine stamp that is printed, cut into strips and glued with 3D adhesive.

Merry Christmas to you all!

Karine

Bonjour

Cardstock : American Crafts
Papiers : Scrap Plaisir, American Crafts
Masking Tape pailleté : Hema
Pastilles métalliques, attache rose : Ephéméria
Tampon : Craft Origine, Stampers Anonymous
Encre : Versafine noire, Chalk Prima
Divers : Tissu

Dies utilisés :

658300 :  Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit
660041 :  Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing Folder 2PK-Beaded Garland & Snowflakes Set
659994 :  Sizzix Bigz Die-Snowflakes #3

White on White by Lilith

Subtle details are my favourite. For this layout I decided to work with dies and an embossing folder. Combining both and going with a white on white look was just the effect I was going for. I cut out the doily shape from some white cardstock using the doily shape from the  Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 2PK - Doily & Doily Border and also embossed some cardstock with dots (with the Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Houndstooth & Dots Set ). I then cut out a scalloped circle from the embossed cardstock. These two pieces I then layered one on top of the other. The rest of the layout was built up around these two pieces

Holidays memories by Karine

Hello!

Here is a pretty unusual combo for me but I must say that I loved it! I took the opportunity to scrapbook a pretty picture from our holidays.

Supply list:

Papers: Kési'art, 4heures37
Cardstock: American Crafts
Alphabet: Glitz Design, Basic Grey
Sticker: 4heures37
Masking Tape
Stamps: Hero Arts, Glitz Design, Florilèges Design
Inks: Chalk Prima,Versafine
Others: Stabilo Pen68, charcoal

Dies:

658300 : Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit
658518 : Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder 2PK-Pom-poms & roses set

I wanted to scrapbook a minimalist but free style page! I started by reworking my white cardstock with my Stabilo68 felt-tipped pens and stamps!

I partially worked on my background by printing a nice heart stamp three times with turquoise blue ink. Stamp the three patterns without withdrawing any more ink to create a gradation.
Then I added a touch of watercolour with my Stabilo Pen68 pens! Make some doodles on a Teflon mat then add a bit of water. Withdraw some of this mix with a paintbrush and splash your background!
Colorize directly your background with a paintbrush.
Let it dry for a while.

Create patterns on a soft green patterned paper with the “roses” embossing folder. Make the embossed patterns stand out by scribbling on them with a charcoal.

Add a matching sticker, masking tape, your title and a bit of charcoal strokes!

Have a nice day,

Karine

Bonjour !

Cardstock : American Crafts
Alphabets : Glitz Design, Basic Grey
Etiquette : 4heures37
Masking Tape
Tampons : Hero Arts, Glitz Design, Florilèges Design
Encre : Chalk Prima,Versafine
Divers : Stabilo Pen68, fusain

Dies utilisés :

658300 : Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit
658518 : Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder 2PK-Pom-poms & roses set

Karine

Thank you Card by Karine

Hello!

Here is a yellow & blue “Thank you” card with a Nature atmosphere thanks to the wood pattern of the embossing folder I used.

Supply list:

Papers: October Afternoon
Chipboards: October Afternoon
Stamp: Craft Origine
Ink: Infocréa
Others: cardboard

Die:

658778: Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing Folder 2PK-Birch trees & Candy Stripes Set

This is a simple card made in 15 minutes or so; it will accompany a gift!

Cut a 20cm x 20cm square in a pattern paper. I chose a floral pattern.
Then choose a matching pattern paper, preferably a neutral one. I chose a light yellow polka dot paper.
Select the embossing folder you want and emboss this paper with it. I chose the wood pattern folder.
This embossed piece of paper will be glued on a corrugated cardboard piece so as to keep the Nature atmosphere.

Add volume by playing with the embellishments. Glue a “cloud” chipboard and add little drops. Then cut a feather out of a paper of the same collection.
The “Thank you” stamp (“Merci” in French) will be printed with Orchid green ink, cut out then glued with 3D adhesive foam.

I hope you like today’s card!

See you next Thursday,

Karine

Bonjour !

Papiers : October Afternoon
Chipboards : October Afternoon
Tampon : Craft Origine
Encre : Infocréa
Divers : carton

Die :

658778: Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing Folder 2PK-Birch trees & Candy Stripes Set

A jeudi prochain

Karine
