Let's celebrate!

Hi everybody!

There is always a reason to celebrate: a birthday, anniversary, father's day... and today I want to share with you a tag that can be used as a card.

I love this cupcake die. You can make different thing with it and use it in many ways. This time I put some pattern paper behind each section to create a "paper pieced" effect, but much easier :)

Happy Monday!

¡Feliz lunes!

Some quick cards with 'Life Made Simple' dies.

Hi there and a great Sunday afternoon to you!!
I have made two cards that I would like to show you today. They are pretty clean and simple, at least for me ;-)

The first one is based on a journaling card on top of the woodgrain base and then some pieces die cut with the 'Life Made Simple' basics. I think those speach bubbles are very sweet. Of course I had to use my fave flower die on this card as well!!

For number two I used the basics set again, and the 'Life Made Simple' 'Smile for the Camera' set. These are so cool and funky!

Sizzix products used:

658300 Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit (Powder Blue & Teal)

659747 Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 8PK - Basics

659755 Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 3PK - Smile for the Camera

656640 Sizzix Bigz Die - Tattered Florals

Other products:

I used papers from the French manufacturer Les Papiers de Pandore , Prima flowers, Rangers liquid pearls, colour Bisque, Papirdesign paper doily.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

För kort nummer två använde jag 'basics' igen men även 'Life Made Simple' 'Smile for the Camera'. Dessa diesen är bara såå jättecoola.!

Fresh hexagons

Hi everybody!

Today I want to share with you a Clean & Simple card using lots of hexagons.

Hexagons have been a big trend this year and I love how clean and organic they are at the same time. To create this fresh card I have inked some white card stock with Distress ink and layered the hexagons Overall Pattern over it. This is a great card background and so easy to make. Then I have die cut some more hexagons and adhered on the card with foam squares. I have highlighted them with some dash lines and I have stamped my sentiment on the big one. I have die cut the butterfly out of some vellum and pink card stock and adhered on the card with Glue Dots. Flinally, I have adhered some pearls to create some more interest in the background.

Happy Monday!

¡Feliz lunes!

Life Made Simple photo folder

Hi everybody!

I'm so happy to show you my first project using the dies of the new Life Made Simple  range. I was very excited when I first saw these dies, because they are just awesome! You know I like things to be versatile, simple and easy to use, and the Life Made Simple line is everything about this. The designs can be used in many ways and in a lot of projects: Cards, LOs, Mini albums and, of course, in your Project Life.

For today's blog post I have made a photo folder using the Basics and the Smile for the Camera sets. I have created the folder with the biger thinlits die and the mat for the camera with the small one. To achieve the camera look I have die cut it 3 times with different papers and paper pieced some elements. Then I have put all together with lots of foam squares.

You can use this photo folder to temporary store your Project Life photos, as a card, to give away some printed photos, or as a pocket in a mini album. The possibilities are endless :)

 Happy Monday!

¡Feliz lunes!

Invitations 'Made Simple'

Hi there.
I hope your Easter is all you could wish for.
I know it has been a well needed break for me, and I am sure you loved getting some time
to spend with friends and family.

In my DT package from Sizzix I got some new and really cool dies, called 'Life Made Simple'.
They are great for the pocket page scrapbooker but can be used for so much more.
They are perfect as embellishments on a page much like a traditional journalling card or why not as lovely card toppers,...

I love it when I get to use up some of my scraps.
I feel that you can never have too many cards in store.

For both cards I used the large basic shape (659747) as a base on top of white cardstock. On the first card I used the embossing folder from the Big Shot starter kit to add texture. I also added a strip of contrasting cardstock behind the arrows to make them stand out even more.

Also simlar on both cards is the double butterfly. Even here I used the Big Shot starter set. There is a Bigz die with the basic shape and a medium Sizzlits die with the ornate butterfly and as they are very conveniently  the same size :-)

Hejsan!

I mitt DT-paket med härliga Sizzix produkter fanns de allra senaste 'Life Made Simple' diesen.

Sunday post from Bente 'My Piece of Heaven'

Hello, I hope you are all having a lovely week end so far.
I have a new page to share with you and of course I have used some of my new gorgeous Sizzix dies for it!

Here are a couple of shots I took along the way:

After I sprayed some different shades of mist on my page I look for the right placement
for my diecut pieces.

Then I decide where my photo should go and start adding different kinds of embellishments.

And now a few closeups of my finished page:

I used one of the new and funky Life Made Simple sets to cut the small tab. And the Tim Holtz rosette die is one of my favourites.

Other products used:

Scraps of Elegance April kit 'Flutter ':
Papers from Bo Bunny, collection 'Primrose'

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Life Made Simpl).
