UNCUT 13

The vinyl record destroyin fool,is back with another release from Feb.of 1992.Some new records (like a trip back to the pop radio top twenty of the 80's)were ruined for this recording,and include such artists as:The Bee-Gees,Village People,Lionel Ritchie,Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers,Dolly Parton,Michael Jackson,Culture Club,Greg Kihn,Michael Sembello,and more.Kung Fu Fighting,is used here,as well as some,Burl Ives,Tijuana Brass,Roy Smeck,and Connie Francis.The second file,which comprises side two of the tape,is all Madonna songs,from the first 3 or 4 albums.A break-up with a girlfriend,forced my hand to mutilate her Madonna records,and play them back for you,here.Lock grooves,scratch,hot-wheel track method,and other techniques are used,to give a unique take on tunes you probably would never listen to in the real world,but given the Uncut treatment,this is pure gold.Madonna lovers and haters will both enjoy this eclectic take on the pop icon.Only one more Uncut album is left in the series,I may not post it till' next year sometime,unless i get some kinda crazy request from an Uncut fan,who may need to complete his full collection of the Uncut canon.Till next time,freak your pea-brains on this !! it's now 2010,and the first posting of the year is UNCUT 10.more broken record mantras,from an escaped lunatic who loves destroying ,playing,and recording old vinyl records.each "cut" is an "uncut",just a snippet sample of one part of a song ,repeatedly played.in some cases ,you'll hear more than one sample on an uncut.as is the case with the second half of this release,an extendo remix version of an uncut from #9,"desperate psychedelic flashback 60's acid mole gravel stomp(all my acid head friends are coming over tonight!)",an exploration of the beach boys covering,"louie,louie",and sounds like the soundtrack to a tripping party!the first half features,kiss,aerosmith,burl ives,hip-hop breakdance beats,as well as the beach boys ,and more!

seventh tape in the series,this one dispenses with most of the old records ,and recruits a few new ones.kiss,the cars,surf punks,and breakdance,all get time,along with a few more newbies.the psycho trance subliminal brainwash effect,evident in all uncut's work,is present as ever,here.mantras of broken record madness.some really cool tracks here.i'm still waiting on some hip-hop rappers to use some of uncut's samples.i think it would be a groundbreaking act,who ever does it first will be a star!

THE 6TH STREET MUNTUS.....eat payola buttons!

i had to put this up to show another example of the muntus.funny thing,i was listening to side one of this the other day at work,pretty loudly,and there happened to be a crew of surveyors there.the grungiest and roughest looking of them(the woman),asked what kind of music it was.i said,"electronic".she said hmmph! i guess she never heard music before(like this anyway).me.joel,and vance take side 1,(tracks one thru six)which i have figured out to be" einsterzende neubauten meets throbbing gristle".very electronic,industrial,mechanical,machinery music.i use a few uncuts,especially to great effect with an 80's synth vibe mashed up with tony bennett,on"the bennett bop".very crazy and cool.side 2(tracks 7 thru 12) is me,joel,jason(i think a one-eyed boy i worked with)from track 8 onwards(he does vox,the only one's here, on track 11)and mike smith joins us on the final two tracks.this side is like "martin denny vs. the royal trux",i shit you not.recorded partially in an aviary(birds gone wild!)with more electronic underpinnings.there is guitar on some of this too,but mostly power electronics.if you don't listen to this,you are a fool.this could change the way you hear music,and your poor taste in music!please listen or something!bye!

more broken record mantras from that escaped lunatic(still on the loose!)who enjoys damaging vinyl records and then playing and recording them.starts out with old 80's breakdance ,shauna grant makes a few more appearances,and then a whole lot of fire department sounds,courtesy of some fire dept. record,that chronicled one hell of a day,apparently,and finally ending up with more breakdance until the needle blows out at the very end.samples remixed until they vomit forth amazing trance psychedelia.much like the other releases(they number up to 14,still a ways to go)this may drive you as insane as uncut himself,and that's the exact mode he's shooting for!
