VERTEBRAE - My New Home b/w One Cigarette

Albany ,NY is where this grungy rock band was from . The bassist ,Surgeon General ,was in a NYHC band in 1983 ,"Capitle". Side a is pure grunge ,with almost Gibby-like vocals. Side b is harder edged, bridging hard core to grunge. Not bad for 1991 ,their second release ,on Erl Records. From the 99 cent bin!

COUNT ZEE

This was sent to me free when i ordered some 7"'s, back in the early 90's,(if I remember correctly,it was GG Allin and also some Redd Kross boots),a hardline straightedge punk band, with metal trappings. Some is trippy effects guitar solos with crazy undecipherable lyrics.Lotsa instrumental breaks, acoustic guitar ,and such.not your typical straightedge, not aping Minor Threat,or 7 Seconds, and not like NYHC,but a thrash metal sound of their own.It was on a blue flexi, which accounts for some surface noise.Highly rare and sought after collectible amongst straight-edgers,world-wide! 11 tracks, the longest is,3:o6,next longest,1:42,all the rest 1 minute or less! They ain't no Minutemen though,I can assure you of that.

DIVIDED WE STAND

a new york harcore style band, just like you'd hear in n.y.sean fleck on vocals, biron on guitar, jeff on bass, and steve on drums.sean and i were friends,he was in film school, and used some of my music in a few of his films soundtracks.he also lent me a video camera for a few years,in which time we made "pissing out the poison",the movie,i made a few short films, and we filmed our bands playing shows.back to the tunes, quite good for what it is,fave tracks are,"ho bag",and "snitch".they used to be known as "grinch",till they found out there were one or more bands using that moniker.get your boots and get ready to mosh, click here for the tea dance:http://www.mediafire.com/file/eztl2tnquj2/DIVIDED WE STAND.zip
