Newly-minted ,from the Seattle noise band ,with Spaceship Andy and Frank Silverberg at the helm ,along with some extra members on vocals ,Jeep and Flacia. 177 short,untitled ,and creative blasts ,though one number tops the 5 minute mark ,and a few more are around 2 to 3 minutes.This could be their masterpiece ,at least, so far,as there will be much more to come from this experimental group. Recorded between October and December of 2011 ,chronicling their amazing "gas station jazz" era. This should not be missed!

HELL GARBAGE/TEENAGE MUSTACHE -split

Dylan Houser (FL) and Dead Ken Frilly(WA) collaborate on this new split of shitcore noise. Hell Garbage's 30 minute piece, is overmodulated feedback crud ,which makes my ears feel massaged as if by barbed wire. Teenage Mustache's 25 minute track is samples and distorted loops with interpolations of screeching feedback laden sounds. This is cool and very experimental.

Food sent this in ,a weird comp. featuring bands involved in the Spokane,WA noise scene of the mid to late 90's.Originally released on the Turbulent Mechanics label in 1997,this is a re-release from Witchcraft,The Other White Meat label co-op ,from this year of 2011.Other distributors include Stan at Reality Impaired in Joplin ,MO,also Disorderly Domain in UT. ,Sephirotic Publishing in St. Louis, MO ,as well as Food himself on his Wheelchair Full Of Old Men imprint. There are 9 bands,each plays a track ,which melds into the next one.Split into 2 parts ,Passage One and Passage Two ,as to protect the continuity of the proceedings.Really weird,bizzaro noise stuff,some louder than others. Pretty fuckin' cool shit,here,says I!!

THE GRUNGY DUNGAREES -Working At The Black Label Brewery

The lost tape has been found! A former member of a band called,"Restaurant Sinks",from the 80's,in WA.,sent in the original tape,with a ton of great photos of Grungy Dungarees.The title comes ,apparently,from some of the band members working at the Black Label Brewery,in WA(also some photos of this place). The term ,"grunge",was appropriated from their name ,to designate the new scene.Altho' this was recorded in 1989,just before any grunge bands made it big.The band,members of which later went onto big fame,once again use fake monikers,totally different from the second album.This is a historical piece,and I wish to extend my deepest gratitude to Andy Sordid,for sending this treasure of a relic!Without him,no one would ever have heard this tape,as only a few copies were duped by band members,for close friends,with the stipulation,that it would not make it to the ears of the public.Internet searches turn up nothing on this band.Truly groundbreaking sounds,as Joe Walsh and The Stooges,are covered,along with swell originals.Culled from several recording sessions,at Jack Joe's Studio,in WA.
