Extremely weird stuff here from Thurston Moore's imprint ,Blast First , featuring art and vocals from Black Flag artist ,and brother of Greg Ginn ,Raymond Pettibon. The band is a host of SST regulars ,Dave Markey ,Mike Kelley, and others. A few songs focus on Ricky Nelson ,and one even adopts some of Ricky's hit ,"Garden Party"! There is also a cover of John Coltrane's ,"Love Supreme" The picture disc ,and the album-sized art book insert ,are great pieces of art ,in themselves ,with Pettibon's usual style and captions. I really can't tell you exactly what's going on here ,because I truthfully don't know! Confusing and strangely obtuse.CLICK HERE:
