One of the dumbest bands of all time!  ,there is much to redeem this,their second LP.(The first one, self-titled,is available on this here blog,somewhweres).You have some poetry readings,some of their trademark Jazz/scat numbers,some more episodes of The Bob and Jerry show,parodies of 70's/80's TV commercials,crazy instrumentals that will trip you out (wear headphones!),a drum solo with a fat guy snoring on top of it,and covers of : The Misfits (Brian "Snax" Siders (R.I.P.) on drums and back-up vocals),Motorhead, 7 Seconds, and Black Flag! There are also some terrible songs,that are some of the worst pieces of shit you may ever hear.Or not!Total Tardcore madness!Fuckin'dumb!

This is from a portion of Cat Machine's Christmas album,"Poolside Yuletide"(found elsewhere on this blog!),which was unreleased.The Machine,croons and plays,along to Frank Sinatra's ,"A Jolly Christmas From Frank Sinatra",album ,and it is an absolute blasphemy,what those boys ,did to these tunes!Funny,with extreme jamming of instruments.Ed,Tony,and Joel,with special guests,Sean Sommers,and Brian Siders.12/18/1990

THE MOSHHAWKS

the MOSHHAWKS were a crossover band before crossover existed.back in high school i was the only punk and i hung out with metalheads and stoners.my idea was always to combine punk and metal to please both crowds.then metallica,megadeth,slayer an others arrived on the scene to use my idea.the guitar style i was going for was a greg ginn/ace frehley sound.you can hear that in here as well as influences like d.r.i.,black flag,black sabbath,minor threat,misfits,g.g.,etc.not in chronological order,the recording and sound quality varies.it's kinda like:skate punk metal thrash mosh horror rock.lots of topics are covered,fat chicks,beer,bongs,outer space,vampires,death,satan,suicide,pigs(cops),zombies,skating ,surfing,self-abuse,h/c lifestyle etc.i had a mohawk and anthrax just started mosh music  i combined the two for an original hair and band name.there are some straight out hard core and punk songs as well as metal tunes and an amalgamation of the 2 genres.don't be put off by anything here,just listen and i'll take you back to the mid to late 80's and you'll like it.mostly me on all instr.and vox.full band had skullz on bass and snax on drums.still have more of this exciting band to post and i will.this is something people have been searching for and requesting so i thought i'd oblige and post it.also a special shout out to my biggest fan,christian "ashey"macdonald. enjoy! CAT MACHINE - poolside yuletide

hey friends, here from 12/18/90 , is the world famous cat machine, with poolside yuletide,the xmas album.recorded near the green channel in joels room at gramp's house(cat machine house),from which sluggisha sprang forth.it was me,joel and tony rizzo with special guests sean sommers,brian "snax" siders (RIP),and frank sinatra.i cut out the frank stuff cuz it was kinda just sittin around singin along kinda sloppy .idid include a brief snippet on "a fuck you xmas with frank".i'll put up the best of cat machine next week or soon and give you more history.believe me we sound better than this xmas deal.this was for fun.the most demented sounding gang of cretins you ever did hear.it's almost frightening how scary this sounds,but it was the machine and it was 18 years ago.seems like yesterday,damn i miss jammin with you guys.thanks tony for the request.
