SCARS -Your Attention Please (Flexi-Disc,live spring 1980)

A rare flexi-disc from i-D magazine,a London fashion publication,from 1980.This version is live,and a studio version later appeared on their one and only album,"Author,Author!".Based on a Peter Porter poem,it addresses nuclear war.A self-proclaimed "literary art-punk" band ,Mark Smith of the Fall,once named them as his favorite group,"because they are the exact opposite of the Fall".A relic to be treasured.

COUNT ZEE

This was sent to me free when i ordered some 7"'s, back in the early 90's,(if I remember correctly,it was GG Allin and also some Redd Kross boots),a hardline straightedge punk band,with metal trappings.Some is trippy effects guitar solos with crazy undecipherable lyrics.Lotsa instrumental breaks,acoustic guitar ,and such.not your typical straightedge,not aping Minor Threat,or 7 Seconds,and not like NYHC,but a thrash metal sound of their own.It was on a blue flexi,which accounts for some surface noise.Highly rare and sought after collectible amongst straight-edgers,world-wide! 11 tracks,the longest is,3:o6,next longest,1:42,all the rest 1 minute or less!They ain't no Minutemen though,I can assure you of that.

I SOLD MY TROMBONE FOR ROCK N ROLL-3 band split flexi

a hardcore/emo flexi disc in an edition of 500.the bands areHUMIDIFIER,THOMPSON'S DISEASE,AND FACE OF DECLINE.not a bad listen,i only played it once(the yellow flexi from eva-tone)

I/PITTBULL split flexi disc

i wish i could find this disc!it came with some magazine,and is metally(I) and nyhc(pittbull) so you know what's coming.good for what it is.P.S.that's not a pic of the flexi!
