Flowers of Friendship

Hello crafty friends, todays card is for Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights, our Theme: Thank you. A little kindness can truly brighten someone's day, and what better way than to send a  card. I've used the new Flowers of Friendship stamp & punch bundle from page 78 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. I've used Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo and Soft Succulent Blends for my colouring, then arranged down the side of the card. I added some splatters with my Black marker for added interest, and finished with Matt Black Dots. If my card put a smile on your face, please click below to vote for me; the top ten will get to be part of an international blog hop which I would love to be part of. You can do that by clicking on the icon below: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Biggest Wish - Something Simple on Sunday

Wow the weekend went fast, a day out and about yesterday including an Ikea visit, so today was spent making up some new draws for the craft studio, before I knew it the day had almost gone, so I got inky with Biggest Wish for a #simplestamping creation. I chose 2 colours that created an ombre effect, and stamped the larger word in the lighter colour, then overstamped with the darker for the scripted word. I thought about leaving with just stamping, but then added some stripes with scraps of Coastal Cabana & Bermuda Bay. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you've had a great weekend. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. If you live in Australia and don't already have a Demonstrator I'd love to be yours.  Biggest Wish Stamp Set When shop

Sand & Sea All Star Tutorial Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to this months All Star Tutorial Design Team Blog Hop featuring the Sand & Sea suite. I had so much fun creating my tutorial card, I used the same background technique for this card - you will never get any 2 cards identical, so if you like something that is unique, this may be for you to try.  I didn't use the embossing folder for today's card, just the single die cut to get my 3 seafloor elements. I first stamped them, then coloured with Stampin' Blends. Be sure to continue through the list below to see more creations from the Sand & Sea Suite from the design team: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stampers Showcase - Black & White

Well the end of May is here..... that means it's time for the crew at Stampers Showcase to give you some inspiration, this months theme: Black & White. As simple as it sounds, when you then try to create a card with only 1 colour of ink, well that can be a challenge, lucky for me I had a BBB delivered on Friday so I had lots of new catalogue goodies to try, and this is what I came up with: I started by stamping the long watercolour image from Artistically Linked across the card, then using a dauber blended the black ink, and blended, and blended..... until I got a nice solid black base to the card. Then to choose scripted or plain text from Biggest Wish for the sentiment, or a mix? Any would work, I finally decided to use scripted font. This design is also great for masculine card, and could also be done in a different colour scheme. I can't wait for you to see all the other inspiration from the new catalogue in the hop today, so why don't you go ahead and click the n
