Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Lisa Curcio

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop, today we have Lisa Curcio joining us special guest. Our task is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) one of her projects, easier said than done as her blog Lisa's Stamp Studio is full of wonderful projects and tutorials. Like Lisa I love a bit of bling so when I saw a shaker card with glitter it was a win - win, this is the project I chose to CASE: I scanned my Christmas stamp sets, and in doing so realised that I haven't used one of my favourite sets from last year - Snow Place so I went and dusted it off, here's my project: How cute are these little snow men! I also used the set to create the snowflake background. My shaker window is cut with the Snow Friends Framelits,  I stamped the image inside the cut out and applied Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter  for some permanent bling on the snowman, then popped more glitter - you can never have too much bling!  Look how the glitter collects at...

Snow Place Bon Bons

I can't believe we are less than a week from Christmas!  I had a very special time with my daughter making this project - she helped with the stamping, colouring and stuffed all the "goodies" inside for a special treat for all her class   I designed these Bon Bons so that I could make 2 out of one sheet of A4 cardstock - once I had worked out the measurements for the score lines they were super easy to make - especially with my little Helper!  Using the envelope punch board to cut the little sections made it so easy for the Bon Bon to take shape when tying with the ribbon. Reports back from the class are that all had a wonderful end of year Christmas celebration! I am entering my project in the following challenges:      I hope you have enjoyed my project today; I would love to update you when I create a post! Snow Place Gift Box

I have been working on ideas for small treat boxes for my daughter's class for end of year gifts; how cute is this Bakers Box!   I can't help myself with the amazing Snow Place Bundle; I just love the little penguin on a mound of snow, so when I saw this weeks Case the Designer challenge at GDP012 I knew exactly what aspect I was going to CASE: I have used the Baker's Box framelits for and cut a window panel  and set with vellum - why go to the trouble of doing a window panel?  When all the sweet treats are gone you can pop in  a battery tea light and you have an adorable ornament - see the yellow glow, that's from the tea light I hope you have enjoyed my project today; I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive an email from me when I do, you can subscribe for my updates here . Crazy Crafters November Blog Hop - My Most Used Stamp Set

Hello and welcome to this months Crazy Crafters Blog Hop, come join the fun and gain inspiration from our projects featuring "My Most Used Stamp Set".  Drumroll........ ta dah I fell in love with the Snow Place stamp set when I set eyes on it - so versatile, you get to pick and choose how you dress up your little snow buddies  with the Snow Friends Framelits dies and create unique characters - mix and match with all of their accessories.   Remember- if you purchase the Snow Place Stamp set and the Snow Friends Framelits as as a bundle you save 15% These little guys are just so adorable!   They are so easy to stamp and cut and you can dress them up or down to your liking, I think they make  for the perfect 3-D card, below I have used them in a Double Side Step Card To create this cute scene I embossed using the Softly Falling TIEF, added layers using cut down ovals to create the mounds of snow and co-ordinated with Peaceful Pines: ...

Snow Place Friends | Shaker Card

It just had to be done, a shaker card using the incredibly adorable Snow Place Bundle!  How cute are these little Snow Friends!   Thank you Cindy from Freshly Made Sketches for this set - perfect for a shaker card to showcase the Snow Friends family! Technique: I used a  masking  technique to stamp the sentiment so that it would span the length of the card, rather than stamp as per normal - look at the set compared to how I have stamped on the card. I interpreted the sketch to be windows and used that as the basis for the Shaker Card .  I used Silver glass glitter and sequins  sequins (they are in there, just a bit overwhelmed by the glitter)  in windows for snowfall.  Colour Combo: Bermuda Bay and Soft Sky on Whisper White.  I used the new Black Archival ink to stamp the Snow Friends - it is so deep and crisp in colour. I hope you have enjoyed my card today, I would love for your to visit aga...

Punch Art Moose with Merry Monday

I have had the amazing honour of being ask to be a guest designer this week with the team from Merry Monday!  Here is my card: Below is Nina's theme for this weeks challenge: I don't have a moose stamp, so I thought I would give punch art a try, or a variation of punch art as I also used framelits: The moose head, antlers and eyes are made from framelits in the Snow Friends set, I also used an oval die to round the bottom edge of the antlers. The end of the candy cane was used for the white of the eyes and the holly framelit for the tuft of hair. I used the Tree builder punch for the nostrils and tongue, and the small circle from the Owl punch for the eye balls. Sequins attached to Cording trim make up the Christmas lights that my poor Moose is tangled in! The sentiment is from Peaceful Pines. Thank you for stopping by today, and for your wonderful encouraging comments, til next time,   For those that live in Austra...
