Celebrate Sunflowers with Thanks a Bunch

Hello crafty friends, today card is for Kylie Bertucci's  International Highlights , our  Theme: Thank you A little kindness can truly brighten someone's day, and what better way than to send a Thank You card I was totally in my element crating this card, colouring, layers and die cuts all the things I love - and lets not forget the cute double bow for a touch of bling. Did you notice I even have a strip of DSP on the card! I'm definitely of making a concerted effort to #loveitchop with my recent mini catalogue purchases. If my card put a smile on your face, please click below to vote for me; the top ten will get to be part of an international blog hop which I would love to be part of. Celebrate Sunflowers

I can't believe it's October, another month has gone by, on the plus side we are closed to the end of 2020, and a new All Star Tutorial Bundle is available. This month we are showcasing the Flowers for Every Season suite, I've been using the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle for my creations. I made this card with a recipient in mind, so that's why the non traditional flower colour theme, but to be honest I think it looks great. I purposely left some of the die cut pieces in the flowers to an extra hint of Coastal Cabana contrast to the Bermuda Bay background. I used a Stampin Marker to underline the sentiment, and of course I had to add a little bling, just a hint of Metallic Mesh Ribbon behind the banner and some shimmer paint for the centre of the sunflowers. Be sure to continue through the list below to see more creations from the Flowers for Every Season Suite from the design team: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. September Harvest Moon

I'm super excited to be joining a blog hop hosted by Rick Adkins - I'm a long time admirer of his creations, so when I had the opportunity to become part of this group I jumped at it, thanks so much Rick. Our theme this month is Harvest Moon, ohhhh I was excited by the theme and started googling to make sure I was on the right track - here's what I learnt.....The harvest moon is the name given to the Full Moon that takes place closest to the autumn equinox, and there is also perennial called Harvest Moon. I've used the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle to create my project for the hop today, stamping and colouring the flowers with Blends, and die cuts for the bottom of the card. For the card base, I lightly sponged some Sahara Sand and Smoky Slate, then cut a circle on a postit note and mask the moon, then continued to add more sponging, applying Crumb Cake and Early Espresso towards the bottom of the card. Be sure to continue through the list below to see more Harvest Moon i

Monochromatic on Monday | Celebrate Sunflowers

Yellows are not normal my thing, but I stepped outside my "colour zone" today and created a monochromatic card using So Saffron, Bumblebee and Crushed Curry. The card came together quite quickly by die cutting the coloured panels using a Rectangle Stitched die , I stamped the sentiment on what I planned to be the bottom panel, then positioned them upside done on the Cinnamon Cider card base and held them in place with sticky notes, then I flipped then over and stamped the beautiful Sunflower image. For some added dimension I popped the panels up with Dimensionals, then lastly added a touch of bling with some new Sequins for Everything - these  no-hole sequins come in 4 colour groups (g reen, metallic, orange, red)  and 3 different shapes: faceted circle, flat circle, hexagon. I adhered the sequins upside down to see how they looked, I quite like the effect, how about you? Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.
