oh WOW - Butterflies & Flowering Layering Decorative Masks

After a lovely turkey lunch I made it into my studio this afternoon and decided to open the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks from my Jan - June Mini Catalogue pre-order, after some experimentation I was ready to create this card: I started with the "plain butterfly" using blending brushes to add Calypso Coral to Mange Melody to Polished Pink . Then keeping the butterfly mask in place, I started to add the flowers, using additional scraps of paper to mask areas I didn't want the flowers to show. From my experimentation I learnt that it is best to clean the Masks to avoid transferring colours. Next was the butterfly detail, again using scrap paper to mask over the floral area then applying Soft Suede . I repeated the process to add the leaves in Soft Sea Foam . I added the sentiment from Biggest Wish , and to finish some Polished Dots for a touch of bling. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration

Stay in touch with Sweet Conversations

Hello crafty friends, I have another preview from the Jan-June Mini Catalogue for you today. The Sweet Conservations Bundle is part of the Sweet Talk Suite and is bound to put a smile of you face - and is able so much more than just a Valentines stamp set as you will see today. I chose some colours not highlighted in the suite for my card today, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia. After stamping the images and text I cut with a coordinating die. I added some interest to the card base with a splatter of black by flicking my Stampin' Marker and lid, then adhered the hearts with Dimensionals.  Lastly adding bling with 2021-2023 In Color Jewels Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  Get your wish list for the new catalogue ready for January 4th, and remember don't miss out on the last chance items retiring soon. Flowing Flowers preview with Share it Sunday

Hello, welcome to Share it Sunday. Today I'm sharing the Flowing Flowers stamp set available Jan 3rd from the upcoming Jan-June Mini Catalogue. The set has a mix of floral stamps and sentiments, I'm naturally drawn to flowers, but I was really interested in the fonts used with the set, so it became a pre-order item for me. I started by stamping the largest and smallest floral stamps with Pale Papaya on the card base to give a tone on tone effect, then after die cutting the focal rectangle, stamped both of the images on Basic White, then added the sentiment (if I did this card again I would probably lift the sentiment up a bit more than I stamped it today. Then I added a touch of bling with some Genial Gems and coordinating Open Weave Ribbon, all in all a pretty quick card to make. Be sure to continue along with the hop to see all the lovely creations, you are currently visiting Sue Vine at MissPinksCraftSpot: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Daffodil Daydream

Welcome back friends, today I've used a bundle from the upcoming Jan-June Mini Catalogue - Daffodil Daydream. The stamp set features gorgeous daffodils, and a cute little butterfly as well as a stunning edge stamp. I just couldn't wait to use them, and the images have coordinating dies, so no fussy cutting, and also has dies that you can cut and create daffodils with out stamping - 24 dies in the bundle in total. After colouring the daffodils with light and dark Soft Sea Foam and So Saffron Stampin Blends I paired the arrangement with a sentiment from the Best Year stamp set (from the Annual Catalogue). I decided I needed another pop of colour so added butterflies coloured with Fresh Freesia and a touch of Balmy Blue, and some Matte Black Dots. The layout of my card was inspired by this weeks sketch challenge at the Global Design Project . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the prod

Sending Hugs with Merriest Moments #CCAS449

Hello crafters, today a have another take on yesterdays card, using Sending Hugs for my background for another card, I loved yesterdays sooooo much! Today's colour come from the CAS Colours & Sketches challenge: To colour I used both light and dark Stampin Blends of the above colours and the dry embossed texture over the image with a Meadow Moments embossing folder. I used a sentiment from the Merriest Moments stamp set and used a die that was just big enough to cover the "hugs" in the background, lastly adding some ribbon and bling to embellish. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.
