Tropical Chic #WWYS

Welcome to this weeks What Will You Stamp?  Challenge, we have an amazing set for you to show of your creations - Tropical Chic. I was so happy when I saw this set is carrying over into the 2019-2020 catalogue, it's one of my "go to" sets, and I'm always able to  get inspiration when using it. I've also used the co-ordinating Tropical Escape DSP in my creation which is retiring this week :(  The colours in the suite were so me, the good news is that you could easily create your own look alike DSP with the stamps. I used the Rectangle Stitched dies for the stitched edging, making sure that the top edge of the cardstock wasn't resting on the cutting plate when I ran it through the Big Shot. Then I stamped the sentiment, aligning it to the top of the card, then some random background elements before mounting on the card front - I raised it slightly by using a layer of corrugated cardstock. Butterfly Gala #WWYS 218

Welcome back to a fresh challenge at What Will You Stamp? This weeks showcase features the Butterfly Gala stamp set - a gorgeous set with intertwining fonts on a selection of sentiments. I've used 2 of the 4 butterfly designs in my project today, simply stamped and then adding colour by sponging onto the solid stamps - I punched the butterflies before adding their centre. No fussy cutting required as there's also a matching punch to cut your butterflies - 2 for 1, and til June 3rd you can purchase as a bundle and save 10% (both punch and stamp are available in the new 2019 Annual Catalogue, but no longer as a bundle). I cant get enough of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits, so I decided to feature a frame in my design, easy peasy to make this beautiful frame with these framelits! Be sure to pop over and view the all projects created with this set by the Design Team, we would love you to participate in our weekly challenges at What Will You ...

Well Said #WWYS209 featuring torn paper masking

Welcome back to a fresh challenge at  What Will You Stamp? This weeks showcase features the Well Said stamp set - with 51 mix and match sentiments, ranging from single words to phases, you are bound to have the right sentiment for every occasion. If that's not enough sentiments for you, then you can also pair with the Well Written framelits, that's another 24 dies - I was super excited when I saw these in the Occasions Catalogue. For my creation, I've used a combination of stamping and die cuts, and for something out of the square for me I didn't layer or mat my card base, instead I created the "mat" by stamping the Blushing Bride background (ever so lightly) with the Crackle Paint Stamp. By using VersaMark for the background stamping made it quite delicate, and so that I didn't have straight egdes, I tore paper and created a mask around the edge of the card before stamping. The wood elements and Metallic Pearls fini...
