It's a Winter Wonderland with the Stampers Showcase

Welcome to this month's Stampers Showcase Blog hop, this is a group of amazing stampers from all over the world has a Winter Wonderland of Christmas themed projects,  be sure to hop through the full line up below so that you can see all wonderful creations!  I’ve used the So Many Stars stamp set bundle and the gorgeous Golden Glitz Delicata ink for my project. I cut 2 of the "star swirls" and trimmed so they fitted together nicely, then cut the card front layers - 2.5 cm (1 inch) for the sentiment, and 5.5 cm (2 1/4 inches) for above the star layer.   Stamp the sentiment, and smear the ink pad on the card base, then adhere the stars to the star die cuts and then raise above the card base - I use a layer of corrugated card stock to do this. There you have it, a Golden Glitz Seasons Greetings :) Next on the hop is Liz Yuille from the UK  click on the icon below to be taken to her blog, Old Stables Crafts and see her fabulous project.

So Many Stars #FMS406

Why is it that why you really want to create, mojo can elude you? I was like that today, all the time create, but I was drawing blanks, so I head over to my challenge blog tab and found inspiration at Freshly Made Sketches . My first thought when I saw this sketch was snowflakes,... but as Iooked through my dies I saw the Stitched Star Dies, and that was it, I knew what I was creating! I stamped the sentiment using the gorgeous Silvery Shimmer Delicata Pigment Ink, and then added a touch of Frost White Shimmer Paint over the Pool Party dies. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below.  Hovering over the product name and clicking on the underlined text will take you directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. Babies & Children Stampers Showcase

Welcome to this month's Stampers Showcase Blog hop featuring BABIES & CHILDREN themed projects, this is going to be such a fun hop! At first I was stuck with what to create, then as I planned a baby themed card I glanced at my Holiday Catalogue pre-order... BOOM inspiration struck! The So Many Stars Bundle was one of the first items on my pre-order - stars can be so versatile, and my card today shows that the Stitched Stars dies are so much more than just for Christmas. I cut a variety of Stitched Stars and arranged around the sentiment from Sweetly Swirled,  perfect for when someone does something exceptional or has stretched themselves - acknowledgement of such an effort always makes one feel really good. I used 2 of the stitched stars to cut the colours, then placed them behind the card front and popped up on dimensionals, lastly mounting the card front on a Thick Whisper White card base, and there you have it, a fun Children's birthday card!

Ink It! Stamp It! Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peek!

You are in for a treat today, the team at Ink It! Stamp It! are previewing items from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue (available 4th September), I can't wait to see what the team has created. I took ages to decide what to pop in my pre-order, and then it felt like an eternity for the order to arrive, but lucky for me I had a couple of day leave from work for some appointments and it also fitted perfectly with the arrival of my new goodies. I couldn't decide what to use first so I used a mixture of my order for my creation: Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper Sentiment from So Many Stars Delicata Silvery Shimmer Ink I stamped the metallic ink onto the vellum, in the right light it looks stunning, and would also look amazing with a darker colour behind it too. The Designer Series paper speaks for itself - the images are stunning AND the reverse side of each sheet is foiled, yes you read right!!!! Be sure to visit all the team and see their wonderful cre
