Charming Countryside Inn

Hi crafters!  I pulled together a quick card today using the Countryside Inn DSP. The cute foxes made me think of a baby card, so I added a sentiment from Charming Sentiments, some twine and just like that my card was finished! The new Annual Catalogue is here! Best Plaid Builder Dies for GDP265

It's the weekend, and that means some crafty time, so while enjoying OnStage I squeezed in some time to create with my new box of goodies that arrived yesterday (woot - nice thing to come home to on a Friday). Ever since I saw the Best Plaid Builder Dies I was mesmerised, but they always seemed to not quite make my list... now I am thinking why did I wait, they are amazing! I used this weeks Global Design Challenge for my colours, adding Flirty Flamingo as my "free choice". This is actually a "no ink', it is 100% made using dies! Playful Alphabet dies for the sentiment, and Stitched Rectangles for the sentiment panel and to resize my plaid creation, and I couldn't help but add a little touch of bling with some rhinestones too. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. One for the Boy

I really surprised myself with this card, masculine themed cards don't normally come easy to me. I don't really know what made this masculine card "easy" for me, maybe it was the fact that I used the DSP to determine the colours? Anyway, I'll take whatever it was, because I love this card. For added texture on the heart background I ran it through the Subtle Embossing folder twice, turning 90 degrees for the second pass, creating a crisscross effect. I also raised the outer heart by cutting 2 additional layers for extra height....and partly because I changed my mind from Balmy Blue to Night of Navy, hahaha! I used Stampin' Blends for my colouring, and lastly added some Linen Thread for embellisment. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. International Highlights - Baby

Welcome to our International Blog Highlight for the month of June, the theme this month is "Baby".  I like to have a couple of these on hand, as you never know when a little person decides to enter the world..... my daughter decided that she was ready 7 weeks before her due date! The Moon Baby stamp set is super cute, I decided to make my own background by heat embossing in Silver for Boys, and Copper for Girls as it always reminds me of rose gold. I cut the sentiment/gender using the Large Letters Framelits , to line up the inside of the letters after I mounted on the coloured cardstock I simply popped the die cuts back in and then the little bits of the "B, O and R" could be glued in to position perfectly. Do you ever have a card that you are not 100% happy with? Well, for me the "GIRL" just didn't seem to pop,.... so I started to play - I decided that maybe if I coloured the die cut letters and place back into the card it wou

Love Sparkles with INKspiration for Moon Baby

I've used to fantastic new sets making my card today, and I am over the moon with the result! Both of these stamp sets caught my eye when I first saw them in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue      My colour combination is courtesy of the first Colour  INKspiration Challenge - aren't these colours just gorgeous! I stamped my images using Basic Grey and coloured using my favourite tool - the Aqua Painter ! Iv'e used Wink of Stella on the stars and for some added bling rubbed VersaMark on the edge of the card and added Dazzling diamonds using Heat and Stick powder .
