It's a Cocktails Kinda day

This card sums up my day today, I was feeling very down this morning, but that turned around with messenger chat with some of my stamping besties, I can't thank them enough. I've fallen for this set, I love the mix of stamps, die cuts and mix and match sentiments. To occupy and distract myself this morning I went for a shaker card so I would need to concentrate, and I do love the finished card. I used a variety of colours, Mango Melody with Flirty Flamingo, Costal Cabana with Granny Apple Green for the drinks, and Bermuda Bay and Highland Heather umbrellas. Sequins for Everything from the Holiday Catalogue were perfect for the shaker element. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube cha...

Getting inky with Forever Fern

After a busy morning, I got into the craft studio this afternoon - my happy place (especially when all the household tasks are done, and aren't calling me to complete them). I broke out a new set, Forever Fern - I finally gave in after seeing so many lovely creations made with it, here's what I came up with: I kept with the "greenery" theme of the set for this card, using Garden Green, Old Olive and a hint of Gorgeous Grape.  Being a DistINKtive stamp, it seriously does most of the work for you, instantly creating shades of colour with no effort at all. So Sentimental provided the "thank you" and likewise the coordinating die to frame the sentiment, then all I did was layer on some cardstock and add a Linen Thread highlight for embellishment. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Fancy Phrases Just for You

This card came together in no time at all, I love the "scratchy line drawing" of this set, all you need to do is add a bit of a pop of colour and you are done - you don't even need to be specific about colouring to the edge of the lines! I stamped the large image around the top and edge of the card, then coloured with Cherry Cobbler, Mango Melody and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. After choosing my sentiment all that was left to do was add a touch of bling with Gold Glitter Enamel Dots  - the dots come in 4 different sizes and are great for adding more interest to your stamped designs. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Going Dotty with Pattern Play

Hello, I've been relaxing in the craft studio today after a couple of days out and about (we are lucky to have fewer COVID restrictions compared to our friends in Victoria); I had "date day" with hubby on Friday - loving my new roster that gives me a day off every second week. I inked up the Pattern Play bundle today, and created this quick card, creating the sentiment with the die cut letters, then just simply stamped the dots. After adhering the sentiment, I worked my way from the centre stamping with Coastal Cabana, then Bermuda Bay as I got nearer the edge, creating a lovely monochormatic effect. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.
