Masculine Layered Circles

If you follow my creations, you will know that masculine themed cards are my nemesis... but I think today I have succeeded with my creation! For the creation I used a mix of the Layered Circle Dies and Stitched Shapes - I cut the circles in halve (with the exception of the small circle) before adhering together, it was quite easy to align the circles by doing this.  Happy is stamped in Sahara Sand using the Well Said Stamp Set, and the coordinating Birthday Sentiment is die cut from Well Written. I decided to add a layer of texture with the new Tasteful Texture 3D embossing folder - it give more detail than the Subtle embossing folder, which was perfect for this design. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it i...

Creating Kindness Design Team Blog Hop - All about Florals

I'm super excited to share with you that I'm a Guest Designer with the Creating Kindness Design Team this month, it's such an honour! This month's theme is FLORAL, and if you follow me, you know that flowers are "my thing". The team will be sharing lots of ideas to inspire your floral creativity. I was totally sold on the Last a Lifetime stamp set when I saw it in the Mini Catalogue, and that is what my project today is featuring. I started by stamping and colouring the floral image with Stampin Blends in Poppy Parade and Mint Macaron, then cut with the coordinating Dies, next was the circle frame, it's 2 layers - using the largest Stitched Shapes circle die, and then placing the corresponding Layered Circle Die to create a fine frame (the edge of the plain circle die lined up perfectly with the outer edge of the Stitched Shapes circle die, making it super easy to cut out). I used a Poppy Parade Stampin Marker for the Love ...

Well, you are not alone there, but here's a tip - it's even more gorgeous when you do chop into the paper and create! This week’s “Bloom & Grow” theme at the Global Design Team challenge , was perfect for me to cut into another sheet of the GORGEOUS Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.  I've combined the floral design with a Delicate Lace die cut and sentiment from Butterfly Gala - I was going to add a butterfly but decided on a Bird Ballad Trinket instead, and I love it! Have you taken of the wonderful Buy 3 Get 1 FREE Designer Series paper sale? Don't miss the sale ends September 30th. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. If you live in Australia and don't already have a demonstrator I'd love love to be yours.  ...

And I want to say a big thank you to group for my invitation, I'm looking forward to hopping with this wonderful group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the globe, there is going to be so much inspiration for creation! Today, I've used the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper as the hero of my creation, I adore this particular design, the delicate detail of the butterflies and foliage with a mix of pastel colours... it's so me! I love the detail of stitched framelits, but would you believe that I missed the stitched scalloped edge in the Be Mine framelits set until I had them in my hot little hands, and I was soooo excited, doesn't it give a lovely delicate feel to the project? I added a 2mm strip of Basic Black along the indent of the framelit, which was a lot easier than I first thought it would be (luckily - I had visions of d...
