Delicate Lace Climbing Roses

Hello, welcome to today's creation, I'm sharing a layered floral project for this month’s Stampers Showcase Blog Hop.  The theme for this month’s hop is SPRING AND FLOWERS, my friends in the northern hemisphere are well into Spring whilst I'm starting to say goodbye to the warmth as we have turned our clocks back and the nights are creeping in earlier and colder.  Feminine and floral best describes my creation today, and it's another goodbye - this time to Powder Pink and the Climbing Rose Bundle. Thinking of Botanical Butterflies | Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Wendy Cranford

Welcome to our Crazy Crafters Blog hop with special guest Wendy Cranford for the USA. Wendy is a super talented crafter,  you may be familiar with her blog Luvin Stampin , it's full of amazing projects that are bound to inspire you. As a Crazy Crafter, our task is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) one of Cathy's creations, I decided on the below card, I just adored the simple lay out. To add height to my scalloped layers I added a layer of corrugated embossed cardstock. ...

Well Said with Climbing Roses

What to do on a lazy Sunday..... play with new stamp sets of course, but where to begin? When I don't know where to begin I find that a sketch challenge can be just what is needed to make images fall into place, and that's what happened when I looked at this weeks Global Design challenge I knew I wanted to use the Climbing Roses Bundle, and wanted to incorporate the the beautiful die cut, here's what I was inspired to create from the sketch I used the die cut to act as a trellis, layering it on top of the large floral arrangement coloured with Stampin' Blends, then coloured and die cut smaller flowers and foliage to layer on top, then used the Well Said stamp set for the sentiment (an amazing set with 51 sentiments & phrases to choose from), lastly splattering a little Crumb Cake and Old Olive with an Aqua Painter. With thanks to the GDP sketch I've created my first project using the Climbing Roses bundle from the Occasions catalo...
