A Special Day To a Wild Rose

Hello, today I started out with simple stamping....... Then MissPink decided to do a little masking and layering, oh well, I can't help being me, and I really like the end card - even if it is yellow themed.... which is so not me! I started with stamping the sentiment, then placed a scrap of paper over the sentimetn and stamped the line image of the flower directly below and above, then added colour with So Saffron for me main, and Daffodil Delight for the highlight. Masking the flowers was easy as I used the co-ordinating dies. I used a Rectangle Stitched Die to give a little detail, then layered on the card base, finishing with a little pearl bling. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below.  Hovering over the product name and clicking on the underlined text will take you directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it ...

#simplestamping with To a Wild Rose

Happy Monday! I'm having a small break of my 9-5 job, and to tick start the week I'm blowing away any Monday blues with a #simplestamping project. The To a Wild Rose stamp set does all the work with it's 3 step stamping - I didn't even mask any of the flowers, the set is photopolymer to it's simple to align and stamp your images and colours. I started with stamping the outline in black, then stamped off Coastal Cabana on scrap before stamping the background of these gorgeous flowers, then stamped off Bermuda Bay once to add the depth of colour. I love the look multi "step" stamps create - would you believe that a set like this called Stippled Blossoms is what first attracted me to Stampin' Up!  Lastly I added the sentiment from Stitched All Around, a touch of bling with some let over Faceted Dots and I was done!  Thanks for visiting today,  I hope you have a happy stamping week!  I've just received my Pre-Order delivery as...

Pink All Around

You wouldn't believe that this paper is from Tropical Escape , but it is!!! I am so in my element, pink all around! The inspiration for this project is the sketch from Fab Friday When I saw the sentiment frame, I immediately thought of the Stitched Label Framelits - so that was the base for my project, so I thought I may as well use the whole bundle and stamp from Stitched All Around too. With the stamping sorted, I needed DSP as per my personal challenge for July. Pastels came to mind as Stitched All Around is detailed and delicate... yes, my mind went straight to pink, and on the reverse side of Tropical Escape there are gorgeous Blushing Bride patterns, 2 for 2, DSP sorted too! I added a highlight of Crumb Cake for contrast, and to coordinate with the Burlap Ribbon , and couldn't resist adding the delicate/feminine Mini Ruffled Ribbon , and a touch of bling with Artisan Pearls . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjo...

Botanical Bliss meets Stitched All Around

Welcome back, it's been a busy weekend so far thanks to an early Saturday morning delivery! Unpacking was so exciting (a little like Christmas morning, lol), and so was setting up my new ink pads - look how much less space they take up! And now I have all the new cardstock colours and have labelled sorted into the new Colour Families too! I also scanned all of the framelits in the delivery, ready to prepare labels and magnetic sheets so I don't misplace any - been there done that, don't want to go searching again! Now for the agony of choice, what new 2018-2019 stamp set to use? I really wanted to give the Big Shot Embossing Mats a try, so I decided on the Stitched All Around Bundle . The background is embossed using "solid patterned" framelit using the embossing mats, how awesome is that! I used Stampin Write Markers to ink up the stamp so that the pattern is in Flirty Flamingo and the sentiment in Basic Black, then cut with th...
