Pretty in Pink with Birthday Delivery

I've been feeling a bit down, and mojo has been alluding me, but tonight I decided I WILL CRAFT, so I reached for some of my favourite retiring colours.... basically anything PINK! Now, with Pink Pirouette and Rose Red I had colours in my comfort zone, now for a stamp set.... I scanned my retiring stamp sets, and then it all came together when I saw the poodle in the Birthday Delivery set, I had my project!  Wow, after walking in my craft room for 4 days with no hint of creation I was super surprised at how quickly an idea struck! Maybe it was the power of Pink, hahaha, anyway I am so happy that I've been able to create! Once I coloured the poodle with Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends I embossed a layer of Pink Pirouette with Polka Dot Basics, and added Organza Ribbon - did you know you can colour this ribbon by pressing into your ink pad (be sure to wear gloves) or popping a few drops of re-inker into a press seal bag with the ribbon, how versatile is that!

Double trouble with the Cat Punch

Lots of birthdays this month for family and friends, and double trouble as my husband is a twin!  I don't normally mixed so many sets together when making a card, but I it just happened this way when creating a card for my brother in law, but it does show how versatile Stampin' Up! products are, so easy to mix and match. I knew I wanted to use large numbers on the card (just so he was sure he knew was 50, hahaha), then I saw the Cat Punch - he has 2 cats, that's when things came together! I added the flag from Birthday Delivery , using the bone folder to curl and to give a 3D effect of it blowing in the breeze. The detail in the stamps in this set is amazing, and being photopolymer it is quite easy to line up the sentiment with the flag - I found stamping the sentiment first and then lining up the flag got me the best result. Likewise stamping the Cat faces was simple as the Spooky Cat set is also photopolymer. I wouldn't be without the Large Number

Birthday Delivery | #WWYS132

Welcome back to another week with What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are showcasing another adorably cute set  called Birthday Delivery I decided to create a card using the little girl image, it reminded of when I was a child and and would give a bunch of flowers to my mum or grandma. I water coloured her dress with an Aqua Painter (one of my favourite tools), and used the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - these new embossing folders give a lovely 3D effect. I would be without the Layering Ovals Framelits , plain and scalloped die cuts - great for layering and how well does the Vintage Crochet Trim look with this image, it's just perfect! This stamp set is part of an AMAZING Birthday Memories product suite and not only do the thinlets cut the stamped images, but also some of the image on the Designer Series Paper - WOW, takes things to a whole new level, so versatile! The suite brings back childhood memories o
