Hello it's the weekend! I was a bit sluggish and achy this morning, but after persevering I completed this card, and I am so happy! The theme for the card is courtesy of The Flower Challenge : It's the first time I've used the peony dies from the Prized Peony Bundle, with a little shading the flowers look amazing, don't you agree. Before I added the Highland Heather shading to the Purple Posy flowers they looked a little bland, not the look I was hoping for, I also joined some of the layers with a dimensional to give a little lift the the petals - that combined with the shading was the look I was after. For the small flower I used the 2 small/inner flower dies, and hid the straight edges with leaves. And how gorgeous is the scalloped edge, and with some Scripty embossing on the card base it creates a nice delicate look to the card.
