Happy and Bright | What I Love

I felt like making something happy and bright today, these flowers are from the Sale-A-Bration set "What I Love" - it's only available til March 31st!   The main flower in  a "3 step" stamp, today I have only used 2 of the stamps - I think gives a lovely casual water colour effect, and it is so simple, just 2 stamps!  If you're not familiar with this type of stamp view the video below.  I'm really happy with the delicate little flowers too - they add to the bright and happy feel of the card.  The sentiment comes from Petite Pairs available in the Annual Catalogue. I've used Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Cucumber Crush for my stampin, here's the inside of the card Whilst it isn't spring in Australia the Paper Players challenge was also inspiration for this card Thanks for visiting today, I would love to update you when I create a post! Thank you with What I Love

I just adore this Sale-A-Bration stamp set, it reminds me a lot of the retired Stippled Blossoms set I am using the sketch from this weeks Global Design Challenge for the lay out theme for my card, be sure to pop over to have a look at the amazing creations from the design team and fellow crafters. I stamped my first layer in Calypso Coral and Watermelon Wonder on Very Vanilla, then on separate card used Calypso Coral (stamped off once on scrap) & Blushing Bride for the "watercolour image" and Watermelon Wonder for the detail. The leaves are Mint Macaron, with a little hand water colouring with Aqua Painters for some added depth - love the finished colour combo!  Then I have fussy cut and layered the flowers and leaves, added clear Wink of Stella for some shimmer, then some lovely Mint Macaron lace ribbon, stamped the sentiment (also from the set), popped up  the layer with Dimensionals and I was done.  Below are the products used:

I just adore both the 3 step flowers and the sentiments in this set! I have also stamped the inside of the card I have also made a 2nd project so show that you can also create your own DSP using this lovely set, this time a special "thank you" box It is specially designed to fit 12 tea lights I hope you have found inspiration from my proj

Welcome back today I have made a quick and simple card featuring "What I Love" -  just one of the FREE products available during Sale-A-Bration.   and the inside of the card says it all!   This card was super easy to make - I decided to only use the detailed stamp for the flower rather than all 3, I just love the simplicity of the finished card. I am playing along the colour challenge at Global Design this week - be sure to pop over and have a look at some of the amazing projects displayed by the design team and fellow crafters.  I have substituted Rose Red and Garden Green for Melon Mambo and Old Olive. What I Love

What's not to love about this Sale-A-Bration stamp set?     Here is my first take on the "What I Love" stamp set: Beautiful watercolour stamping effect it's so easy to use - the flower stamps have little tabs so you know which way is up, making it easy to line up, but hey if you are a little bit off it doesn't matter with this lovely watercolour stamp effect you don't need 3 different colour inks - I only used Melon Mambo for the flowers, and only 2 of the 3 stamps - the outline, and then stamped off the 2nd flower before lining up and stamping it's FREE, yes FREE during Sale-A-Bration So like I said what's not to love! The sentiment is also from another Sale-A-Bration set called "Sky is the Limit" it is such a lovely Font I know I am a bit partial to Pink, but you have to admit the matching Melon Mambo Cardstock and Ink just look stunning with Basic Black and Whisper White.  I used a masking technique when stamping t
