Awash in Beauty Note Cards

Hello there crafters, today I have a cute set of note cards using the   Awash in Beauty DSP and  Full of  Love Stamp Set for the sentiments. Using a piece of A4 cardstock I created 3 notecards measuring 9.9 cm x 19.8 cm. I then cut an arrangement of flowers using a square Stylish Shapes from the Awash in Beauty DSP , then chose a mat that coordinated with the image. Stamping 3 different sentiments in Mossy Meadow. I also cut a mat of Basic White DSP for each note card. I started with a basic note card. adding a Merry Merlot mat to the die cut DSP, then adhered the Basic White mat to the note card then added the DSP mat to the note card using dimensionals. For the second card I embossed the Basic White note card with  Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder , adding a Mossy Meadow mat to the die cut DSP and mounted with dimensionals. For the last note card I used the  Stitched Greenery Die to emboss the Basic White Mat, added a Calypso Coral Mat to the DSP, the mounted with Dimensionals. Than

Banner up with Full of Love

Hello crafty friends, I was stuck for ideas, so visited my Pinterest board with card sketches for this design. I started by stamping image and image from Full of Love o n Basic White cardstock with Memento Black ink, then coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Mossy Meadow, Calypso Coral, Polished Pink, So Saffron and Cherry Cobbler.  I cut the coloured image using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies set , cut Calypso Coral with the long wide banner. I cut and created the large banner in Mossy Meadow. Here's what I did behind the scenes with the banner: I added the circle image using Dimensionals, and to finish added 3 Basic Rhinestone Jewels for at touch of Bling. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog an

Stampers Showcase - Stylish Santa Express Showcase

Hello there crafty friends, today we are showcasing creations from the July-Dec Mini catalogue with a twist..... with a sketch from a bit of a blast from the past if you recall Mojo Monday (one of the first challenge blogs I participated in when I started my journey with Stampin Up!) Card Sketches are a terrific way to get your creative juices flowing. They give you a fantastic starting point, or a perfect layout to CASE! I just received an order on Friday and decided that I'd use Santa's Express DSP for my project, here's what I've come up with: Isn't the Santa Express DSP just gorgeous! So much so that I haven't done any stamping, I've let the DSP do all the work for my card. I've used the Stylish Shapes dies for the circles and banners, and added a little touch of bling with a super cute bow tied with Metallic Mesh Ribbon . As you can see I took the sketch quite literally, using the tones of the sketch to guide me with colour placement. I did change

Sending Love with Sweet Gingerbread

Hello crafty friends welcome to this month's Blogging Friends blog hop where we have a mash up of projects featuring items from the new July - Dec Mini Catalogue & Sale-A-Bration! I anxiously awaited my preorder in anticipation... only to find that I had miss ordering a punch for what I was planning to make, so onto Plan B = Sweet Gingerbread . I love creating Christmas scenes, and this bundle makes it so easy. I framed my scene with the large scalloped die from Give it a Whirl with the largest circle from Stylish Shapes inlaid to give a nice stitched edge. I combined to of the sentiment stamps in the set for the inside of the card. I've also used the Silver & Gold 6" x 6" Specialty Paper from Sale-a-bration to give some bling to the front of the card.  There are 2 designs in the paper, spots and stripes in both Gold and Silver, ideal to dress up a card quickly. I've used Blushing Bride, Sweet Sorbet and Costal Cabana for my colours, with Crumb Cake for

Stamping with Friends - Colour Theme Challenge

Welcome to the Stamping with Friends Colour Themed Challenge, all the projects in today's blog hop will feature these colours, aren't they just so bright happy! I decided to do a variation on a Bokeh card I did showcasing the 2022-2024 In Colors back in June, this time I'm using die cuts instead of ink with Blending Brushes, I thought it would also be fun to use a variety of shapes instead of just circles: I kept consistency of colour for each different shape. I find when making a card it's best to ensure that some of the shapes go off/are trimmed of the side of the card front. I've used the Sending Smiles Bundle for the sentiment - I just adore the die cut sentiment and shadow. I used the Stamparatus to stamp on the Banner multiple times to get nice crisp stamping, finishing with some Matte Black Dots.
