Welcome to our International Blog Highlight for the month of June, the theme this month is "Baby".  I like to have a couple of these on hand, as you never know when a little person decides to enter the world..... my daughter decided that she was ready 7 weeks before her due date! The Moon Baby stamp set is super cute, I decided to make my own background by heat embossing in Silver for Boys, and Copper for Girls as it always reminds me of rose gold. I cut the sentiment/gender using the Large Letters Framelits , to line up the inside of the letters after I mounted on the coloured cardstock I simply popped the die cuts back in and then the little bits of the "B, O and R" could be glued in to position perfectly. Do you ever have a card that you are not 100% happy with? Welcome to this week's What Will You Stamp?  This week we are creating with the adorable Moon Baby stamp set from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue (Pg 17) This set features 3 lovely feature stamps plus stars and sentiments - they can be used in so many different ways to create that perfect card for a new born or baby shower. For this weeks showcase I have stepped things up a bit and created a slider card: I stamped and clear embossed the image of my Umbrella Baby, then water coloured, I also added some Wink of Stella to the Umbrella. I cut the clouds using the Up & Away thinlets  and embossed the little hearts by using the Falling Petals Embossing folder - both also from Occasions Catalogue - there are so many beautiful items in this catalogue! I created the rainbow using the Sliding Star framelits  cutting each colour then layering and placing just above the "slider cut" on the Whisper White. Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Valerie Moody. It is such a pleasure to be hopping with Valerie, she has lived my dream - being selected to be on the Stampin Up! Artisan team! and now I have the opportunity to CASE - Copy and Selectively Edit one of her creations - Yay! I love how "clean" Valeries designs are, I must admit I struggle with a CAS (Clean and Simple) card, I never know when to stop, and before I know it my card is no longer CAS! I selected the following card to  CASE from Valerie's amazing work: I love how Valerie has stamped the background of this card to give a water coloured effect - I great way to get the effect if watercolouring isn't your "thing". I also like layered effect of the clouds and the balloon. Here is my take on the design: I used the work of Art stamp set to create my background, stamping off once with Soft Sky before stamping on the Whisper White cardstock. I really like this...

I've used to fantastic new sets making my card today, and I am over the moon with the result! Both of these stamp sets caught my eye when I first saw them in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue      My colour combination is courtesy of the first Colour  INKspiration Challenge - aren't these colours just gorgeous! I stamped my images using Basic Grey and coloured using my favourite tool - the Aqua Painter ! Iv'e used Wink of Stella on the stars and for some added bling rubbed VersaMark on the edge of the card and added Dazzling diamonds using Heat and Stick powder .
