It's all about Rainbows!

Hello, and welcome crafty friends to a blog hop dedicated to all things Rainbow. Most of the time that I think about rainbows they put a smile of my face, but their is one rainbow that doesn't - that is the Rainbow Bridge for our furry friends. Sadly this has happened to most of us, that time when we say goodbye to our special little guy or gal that has been through thick and thin, they always seem to know and smooch and cuddle up just when needed. Just last week my friends said goodbye to their beloved Russian Blue, I made this card specially for them: I used the Brilliant Rainbow Dies cutting Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo , with Smoky Slate with my Cat Punch . The Basic Borders cloud edge die is the perfect accompaniment for a rainbow. I cut multiple, making sure I moved the die to a different position each time so the clouds didn't loot symmetric. Both the top and bottom clouds are popped up for dimension and the Melon Mambo stripe is ...

Happy Halloween! Treat Bags with Spooky Cat

Happy Halloween! My daughter and I got crafty last night and whipped up these treats for her class in next to no time - she designed the whole package with Spooky Cat , I'm so proud of her! We had so much fun packaging these up and creating, I had her doing maths counting the sweets and bags and she didn't even realise... hahaha Apart form the punched cat (she is kitty obsessed) her favourite thing is the  "Eat at your own Risk" warning on the back of the pack, he can't stop laughing when she reads it! Spooky Cat | WWYS137

Welcome to this weeks with What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are showcasing Spooky Cat! I decided to make a step card, I haven't done this fun fold for some time now - just in case you are wondering, I didn't forget my cat's face, he is looking at the moon. I reversed the folds so that the middle panel is set into the back of the card so that I could make a fun 3D image by adding die cut branches from the Seasonal layers Thinlets Dies , here's a different angle so you can see the branches. The branches are attached to a little rectangle that folds flat when the card is closed, one at the back of the rectangle and the other at the front, creating different layers in the silhouette. This is such a fun set, and it also has a matching punch - so if you are a cat love is is a MUST!  Bundle  the stamp set and punch and save 10%, and there is also coordinating Spooky Night DSP !    Check out all the great projects from the De...

Double trouble with the Cat Punch

Lots of birthdays this month for family and friends, and double trouble as my husband is a twin!  I don't normally mixed so many sets together when making a card, but I it just happened this way when creating a card for my brother in law, but it does show how versatile Stampin' Up! products are, so easy to mix and match. I knew I wanted to use large numbers on the card (just so he was sure he knew was 50, hahaha), then I saw the Cat Punch - he has 2 cats, that's when things came together! I added the flag from Birthday Delivery , using the bone folder to curl and to give a 3D effect of it blowing in the breeze. The detail in the stamps in this set is amazing, and being photopolymer it is quite easy to line up the sentiment with the flag - I found stamping the sentiment first and then lining up the flag got me the best result. Likewise stamping the Cat faces was simple as the Spooky Cat set is also photopolymer. I wouldn't be without the Large Number...
