Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Rachel Tessman

Hello and welcome to the today's blog hop with special guest Rachel Tessman, a hugely successful demonstrator from the US, she has been stampin' for 18 years, WOW! As a Crazy Crafter, our task is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) one of Rachel's creations, not an easy task with so many wonderful creations on show at "stamp you art out" , after much deliberation I decided on the below card I liked the effect of the die cut element in conjunction with the use of DSP - you know, the pretty paper we all have, but so many of us don't cut into, bahhahaha! Here is my CASE using those 2 elements: I created a window frame by taping 2 square die cuts together, and cut 3 layers, then cut into a sheet of Delightful Daisy DSP and layered beneath the frame. Now for the Die cut elements, the Jar of Love double set has a gorgeous coordinating flower, woot - this is what I love about Stampin Up! items coordinate between sets making them so ...

Delightful Daisy for Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Angela Meititz-Reid

Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Angela Meiritz-Reid from New Zealand.  You may be familiar with her blog  Stamping Beauty  - Angela is on several design teams, so what a pleasure that we have the opportunity to Blog Hop with her today.  Surprise, surprise, I was drawn to the colours in this card made by Angela, but there was other reason I chose to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) this design -  is that it shows a great way to use your Designer Series Paper #loveitchopit Here's my take: The Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper spoils you for choice, I decided on a navy theme for my card. I couldn't resist layering my card and the pretty daisy from the Daisy Delight stamp set , so easy with the Daisy Punch , as well as adding a little bling with a Clear Faceted Gem (which a partially coloured), there is also a touch of Wink of Stella on the sentiment. Take your time to hop all the way...

Letters for You | WWYS140

Welcome to this weeks with What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are sharing creations using the "Letters for You" stamp set This set is perfect for customising your creation, the font is quite large so small words work well, eg Baby, Hello, Dad, Joy, you can also make long or tall cards for larger words like Merry, and is also perfect for creating monogrammed cards - I can just image a wedding invitation with these. There are also the Large Letter framelits that coordinate perfectly if you wanted to die cut your letters. I've created a card for my Mum, to say thanks for looking after my daughter at short notice on Friday evening when we had something unexpected come up. This card is a larger size than normal to cater for the sentiment going down the side of the card - 18 cm x 12.5 cm finished size.  This was a quick card to make, I used the silver washi from the Year of Cheer collection and it dressed up the sentiment beautifully! And the backgr...
