Hand Penned Memory Keeping

I've had a super relaxing Long Weekend, taking a bit of time to give me some TLC after a week of ups and downs. I ventured into the craft studio this afternoon and created a scrapbook page using the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper. Once I decided on which floral print to use, it was time to add coordinating colours with a couple of Hand Penned Memories & More cards ("simple pleasures and the hand drawn lines for writing about the image) From here, I added layers & shapes coordinating colours, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Mint Macaron & Misty Moonlight. I used a variety of die cuts, Scalloped Contours, Basic Borders. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. Hand-Penned Memories & More

Have you every tried Memory Keeping or Scrapbooking? It is something that I always intend to do, but dont' get there as often as I would like, but it is so worth it. Today I pulled together a Scrapbook page layout, all that's left to do is add the photo and some journaling. For my base I've used a design for the new Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper, isn't it gorgeous!!! Next I choose a card from the Memories & More Card Pack - I decided to highlight Pale Papaya.  From here, I added layers & shapes coordinating colours, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Mint Macaron & Pool Party. I used a variety of die cuts, Scalloped Contours, Basic Borders (both new in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue), Stitched Rectangles and some scraps. Now I'm off to find a photo, while I'm doing that be sure to continue through the blog hop for more Memory Keeping ideas, you are currently visiting Sue Vine - MissPinksCraftSpot: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing m

Stampin Friends - I'm wishing for Summer

Welcome this this month's Stampin Friends Blog Hop, it's a summer theme - my friends in the northern hemisphere are enjoying the sun, but I'm rugged up in my "trackie and Uggs" sat in front of a heater - the theme made we wish for warmer weather, and that got me thinking of the beach.....  Now there was no way I was going to the beach when it was 10 degrees, so I started looking at holiday photos, and found a beautiful day at Port Norlunga, I decided to make a 12 x 12 for a photo frame, and later I can transfer it to my scrapbook pages. My background is created using 3 of the designs from the Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper , I added Burlap Ribbon and Linen Thread for a beachy rustic feel. I printed the memory from the day on vellum and cut into a Banner. I carried the Banner theme into my card project using the scraps of the DSP, waste not, want not I say! And see the top of the card, that texture is created with the

Memory Keeping with Sweet Soiree

I did it, and I couldn't be happier! Way back when I was preparing for OnStage in November I wanted to make a scrapbook page, well, time got the better of me and it didn't happen, but last night I came across the photos I had chosen, so today I've finally made the Scrapbook page, YAY ME! I've used half a sheet of the gorgeous  Sweet Soirée Specialty Designer Series Paper and pre cut elements from the  Sweet Soirée Embellishment Kit - both of these items are retiring on May 31st so be quick before they are gone, and as an added bonus the DSP is also discounted, woot happy days! I used sentiments from Eastern Beauty , and a May Flower Framelit Die to add to the floral arrangement - I just love how easy it is to mix and match Stampin' Up! items. The  Decorative Ribbon Border Punch was also a perfect accompaniment, and lastly a strip of Velvet Ribbon (available June 1st). Here's hoping to this being the first of many more 12 x 1
