All Star Design Team - Take to the Sky

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new bundle from the All Star Design Team. This month we are showcasing the  Take to the Sky suite  from the new Annual Catalogue. The All Star Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. This suite leans towards masculine themed cards (my nemesis) so it has been a personal challenge to create with this suite, so what do I do when I'm stuck for ideas? I search Pinterest, where I saw some cards using the Perennial Postage Dies, and since I have all this gorgeous coordinating DSP I also channelled Kylie with #loveitchopit for inspiration. I am sooooo happy with the finished card! It really came to life when I added the DSP base (thank you to my inner Kylie!). My Dad will love this card, he has been an avid stamp collector since childhood. Take to the Sky Inspiration Below is a sneak peek of what’s in store with this month’s Bundle. You’ll see my

Rainy days - Playing in the Rain

We all have them in one way or another - rainy days, it can be hail storms, or it can be more subtle, but one thing for sure when you reach out to a friend they will appreciate to hear from you. I'm playing along with the CC&S challenge this week with Playing in the Rain , I took some liberty with the colours as 2 of the colours are retired and no longer in my stash, but Bubble Bath and Old Olive do make lovely substitute. I've used a mixture of Stampin' Blends and Blending Brushes to colour my cute little rabbit, adding the clouds with Dimensionals for extra height. For the pop of colour on the left of the card I've used the 2023-2025 6x6 DSP, with a strip of Bubble Bath, just a little to make a statement but not overwhelm the design, amazing what a little bit of pattern can do to lift the look of the finished card. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used

Deckled Irresitible Blooms

Hello crafty friends, have you seen the Online Exclusives? Well here is just one of the online exclusive products - I've used various items from the " Hello, Irresistible Suite Collection " for my card to show you today, you can purchase the entire suite,or just pick individual items. At first glance it looks like the flowers have been white embossed on a gorgeous watercolour look back ground, but no, the focal image of the card is Designer Series Paper!  Don't you just love how the DSP does most of the work for you!   I used a Deckled Rectangle Die to cut the diagonal edge of the Basic White cardstock to frame the DSP before sponge daubers to apply a mix of Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flaming the sentiment, then added some Loose Frosted Dots to finish - super easy and stunning to boot! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click o

All Star Country Floral Lane Video Class Bundle

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new bundle from the All Star Design Team. This month we are showcasing the Country Floral Lane suite from the Jan-Apr 2023 Mini Catalogue. The All Star  Design Team not only design a project that’s exclusive to the Video Class Bundle but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. I chose to highlight another beautiful design from the Country Floral Lane DSP on my card today, using a slime line design shows off all be bike colours too! The pretty scalloped edge is cut using the border die from Scalloped Contour dies , is also uses the DSP - I just adore the candy stripe as a contrast to the dainty hearts and flowers. To finish I added a Wink of Stella on the the Poppy Parade matt above and below the DSP for some shimmer and bling. Country Floral Lane Inspiration Below is a sneak peek of what’s in store with this month’s Bundle. You’ll see my teaser in the bottom left of the image.  There is more inspiration fro

Hues of Happiness with the All Star Tutorial Team

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new All Star Tutorial. This month we are showcasing the  Hues of Happiness suite . The All Star Tutorial Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. What can I say, what is not to love about this suite! I am particularly partial to the gorgeous DSP, I love how the flowers can be die cut, so I've used this as a feature in my card today. #loveitchopit I used just 3 flowers in my design, with the largest being cut in 2 and placed at the bottom and top of the card, then I filled the gap with 2 smaller flowers and leaves also die cut from the DSP. I added one of the die cut edges to create interest on the right hand side of the card and then stamped the sentiment, add some Basic Rhinestones and my card was finished - so easy with the die cut flowers! Simply Fabulous Butterfly Kisses

It's school holidays and the weekend, so with my daughter at grandma's it was the perfect time to get into the studio and get creating. A new order of goodies arrived earlier in the week, so perfect timing! I had the Best Butterflies bundle and co-ordinating Butterfly Kisses 6 x 6 DSP in my sights, as well as the Simply Fabulous stamp set. The colours in the Butterfly Kisses DSP are so sweet, I just had to cut in the DSP. I decided on a Slimline design so I could use the full length of the paper, overlaying the strips with a gorgeous floral print, there were lots of possibilities for the combination of the DSP, I finally decided on a combination of Fresh Freesia, Poppy Parade and Parakeet Party. I adore the font on the Simply Fabulous stamp set, and decided on the "just saying Hello" sentiment which I White heat embossed, then cut a cute butterfly with the dies and mounted on a circle to make it pop above the DSP. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed vie
