Miss Pinks Craft Spot

I managed some time for creative therapy this afternoon, and to speed things up I looked over my favourite challenge blogs for inspiration, and yes, CAS Colours & Sketches was the ticket. I'm a pastels girl at heart (unless it is hot pink, well any shade of pink really), so after seeing the colours and then Joannes card I knew what I was going to create. I broke out my Vine Design bundle, and proceeded to cut the detailed rectangle and then stamped and cut the co-ordinating flowers. So that the stamping didn't overpower the design I stamped off once (2nd generation stamping). To add more of a contrast and subdue Soft Seafoam, I decided on using the new Scalloped Contour dies to frame the main die cut and put on a White card base.  I move a couple of the coordinating flowers to on top of the sentiment and lastly added some Basic Rhinestones for that special touch of bling. I cant' believe it is the middle of the week already, I've been playing catch up since a number of appointments late last week and early this week,  and my crafting workspace was a mess, so after a tidy I finally got into some creation after being inspired by a quick to create card by Jacque Williams I've used 2 products from the Jan-June Mini Catalogue, Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper , and the Vine Design stamp set for the sentiment. I started by chopping into a piece of DSP, and cut a 4 x 6 inch piece, then proceeded to cut the rectangles, laying the rectangles as they would appear on the finished card, which I will use as a  template to adhere them to the card front later. I cut 3 rectangles with White cardstock and adhered to the back of the DSP to give a bit more strength to hold up in the post before attaching to the card front with Dimensionals. I added some Mossy Meadow Braided Lined Trim to the bottom rectangle, then to finish just added the sentiment. Than

In the up coming weeks I will be sharing with you creations using some of my favourite stamp sets that have been announced as retiring to make way for the new Annual catalogue coming on May 4th 2021. Today I've used Terracotta Tile with stamping of  Buffalo Check , with a phrase from Fancy Phrases , with die cuts from Nested Stitched Dies, embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder .... all retiring. I also incorporated a sentiment die from Flowering Vine Dies and cluster of gorgeous flowers from the True Love DSP. Orange tones are not my thing, I much more prefer Pinks, but I'm more than happy with the finished Card. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.
