Whimsical Star Burst

Hello crafty friends, todays card was inspired by a Martin Stone creation . I loved the layout so much I just had to give it a try, and it uses my favourite stamp set this season - Whimsical Trees. I'm also playing along with this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I changed the colours up using Blushing Bride and gold embossing, and used Blending Brushes to deepen the centre of the star burst. My sentiment comes from the Banner Year stamp set, and the additional bling from Wonderful Gems and a swirl of Simply Elegant Trim. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. Blushing Whimsy & Wonder with Sparkle of the Season

Hello crafty friends, today a have a selection of smaller but square cards for you to view - I think they are just perfect for gift baskets. Whilst not traditional Christmas colours, these cards fit perfectly with the theme at Global Design Project : These cards measure 9.9 x 9.9 cm square when finished - this means I get 3 cards from one piece of A4 cardstock. I've used one of the designs from the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper, one side of each of the sheets has silver foil (or bling for short!!!).  I decided to feature the gorgeous Blushing Bride snowflake design for this set of cards, the tree is cut from Mint Macaron using the Whimsical Tress dies, and the star wreath from the Seasonal Swirls dies, with an added swirl of Simply Elegant Trim. Have you tried "repeat stamping"? It is a fantastic technique, and is a a wonderful way to utilise smaller stamps, and is also incredible effective when using a sentiment or phrase. For the final card I used ...

Whimsical Trees with a pop of pink!

Welcome back crafty friends, I've joined 2 challenges for today's creation: I was automatically drawn to the CC&S colour challenge , and the colours also work wonderfully with the FMS challenge , two for one, you just can't say no, right? This card came together, #simplestamping, and I also utilised some scraps behind the sentiment which made the Polished Pink really pop. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Whimsical Joy

Hello crafty friends, I'm getting Whimsical again - I think this may be my favourite bundle at the moment, I just can't get enough of it! There are 13 dies in this bundle, and I've double cut using Mint Macaron & Smoky Slate, then off set them ever so slightly to create a shadow look. I added some shimmer with A Wink of Stella and also stamped the inside of the card with a sentiment from the set. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.
