Green Man Plate

This is a plate that I was given who wasn't keen on the colour.

Painted it in black powertex, coated a piece of t-shirt fabric, scrunched it up and placed it in the middle and then placed the green man in the centre.

Whilst still a bit tacky I placed some resin, wooden and natural pieces around the centre piece.

I coated everything in powertex and then used treasure gold and alchemy waxes to bring out the different textures.

Then I took some photos outside which represents a truer colour.

Close up of the green man in the middle.

And another close up of the right side.

And the bottom.

This is now for sale in my on-line shop.

Festive Stone Art Sculpture

Again this started life as a polystyrene circle, then I cut a piece cut out.

I covered the piece in stone art and ivory powertex and then threw everything at it until I was happy with the outcome.

Close up of the stone art texture and the colouring.

I added yellow, brown and blue bister, black powertex and then transparent.

And I incorporated some of the elements left from our gluhwein together with some elements from a previous woods forage which I coated in transparent powertex so I could keep their natural look.

Christmas Napkin Holder

Covered a loo roll in cling film, powertex'd the corrugated, tied string around everything to secure it.

Next I added some embellishments in the open space but making sure that they connected to something.

Once dry I sprayed a coat of natural bister.

Then I sprayed it again.

I didn't have a napkin so I rolled up a duster instead.

I used gold pigment to embellish it.

This is the back and I went over the string with gold pigment.

And here it is finished.  I think a set of these would look lovely.
