Tiger
My sister loves big cats and last week my mum took the duck I'd made her to show my sister who absolutely loved it. So I thought I'd have a go at making her something in the big cat range. I was going to go for a black panther, but thought that would be cheating, so instead I went completely the other way and totally challenged myself. Am quite pleased with the results. Face could be better shape, but for my first attempt, I'm happy and I hope my sister will be too xx

Indian Runner Duck
The body and legs have been made by sculpting toy filling to form the core.
I used my slicker brushes for the first time as I had a bright orange and a bright yellow but neither were the right colour, so I blended them together to create the beak and cover the feet and legs. I used a NZ carded batt in apricot colour for the main body. (All from the Felt Box.)
Next I added an eye in black.
And then the other side and his nostrils.
And I thought I'd finished but it was missing something and then I realised I'd not put the white bit in his eye.
And the white bit in the other eye too.
And now he's finished.
He is a gift for my mum who loves ducks. She did say she didn't want any more, but hopefully she will accept this one.

And this is a gorgeous gift that I was given by Lin and Chris. The decoration is felted and the little tag to match is superb. Want to have a go at this myself.
This was the fab bag I was given the above fab bag in, together with a little pack of vintage embellishments. Thanks ladies, much appreciated.

Handmade Items for Sale
I'm not sure if you know or not but just recently I'd been making a few things to sell at a Christmas Craft fair at the church in the next village to where I live. It took place last Saturday.
Unfortunately there weren't that many people of the age group I needed to capture that visited us. Although I do think much of it had to do with with weather as it was cold, damp and thick fog for most of the day.
However, in order to try and still sell some of what I've made I've created a FaceBook page with the help of a couple of friends!! And have been busily adding items to it today.
So I would like to officially open my FaceBook page today.
I would really appreciate it if you are on FB if you would share my page - thank you.
This is where I am -

Gifts for Donny Dome
Set off for Donny Dome this morning armed with gift boxes, as I'll be meeting up with quite a few #PATwits
These are some of the gifts inside the boxes, notelets with matching envies and a mini note book.
This is a different style of mini book, with a flap over.
This is the back, I used a stencil over a gelli page print.
Book opened out and you can see the flap, this is for Emma.
I saw this and bought it for Linda, as she brings home made cup cakes to the show for us all.
The stamp is red rubber and mounted.
And a lovely little paper bag to take it home in!!
