Day 15 Tags

A second flurry of oriental tags for the #fabtag30day challenge.

And I decided to change colours, blue and white and black embossing.

A smaller one.

More gold embossing on a black tag, with a hint of red and blue.

Heavily gold embossed in oriental script.

Vellum on the background tag and a stamped image with black embossing on gold paper.

And finally another blue one.

We are half way through, just another 15 days to go!

Day 14 Tags

A flurry of oriental tags today towards the #fabtag30day challenge.

Red and black and lots of gold embossing.

Black and cream with lots of gold embossing.

Lots more gold embossing and a patterned paper.

More gold embossing and origami papers.

A smaller really plain tag.

Another smaller tag, but still lots of gold embossing.

Day 12 Tag

Day 12 tag for the #FABtag30days challenge using up leftover bits from the previous tags.

Then I decided it needed something else, so I added a couple of large gems to balance it out.

Another Oriental Scrapbook Page - 8 x 8

Just a simple matting and layering layout. Another page for my black 8 x 8 book.

Day 10 Tag

Still playing with die cutting and oriental papers, but this time I used a window.

My day 10 tag for the #FABtag30days challenge.

Day 9 Tag - Oriental

Just one tag today for the #FABtag30days.  I cut a circle out of the top tag using a spellbinders nestie.

Green Oriental Style Tags

I decided to have another go at Tracie's double window tags, but this time tried out an oriental theme.

Once the base tags were made I got out some embellishments and started to play around with them.

I only slightly veered off the original layout, and glued everything down.

Loving these window tags. There is so much going on.

In the process of rounding the corners I managed to break another punch today, my corner rounder! It just jammed.

I've had a hell of a game getting hold of Zutter to replace it as it has a lifetime warranty.

The inner tag pulled out of the window.

And tag number two, I added some washi tape to the bottom of the smaller tag.

Removing the smaller tag from the window pocket.

And finally the smaller tag pulled all the way out.

And the two tags together with the smaller tags removed.

And I also covered the backs.

These are my day 8 tags towards the #FABtag30day challenge.

Tag page 8 x 8

Used one of the tags from the day 1 #FABtag30day challenge to create this page in my black book.

Oriental Tags - Tag Challenge

I've joined an event on a FB group called 'FAB Tag 30 Challenge' and this is day ones batch.  There are no rules apart from make as many tags as you can in the next 30 days.

Oriental Triptych

I created a triptych using a sizzix die to create the shape at the top.  Then I painted both sides black. Once dry, I stamped the bamboo images in silver paint.

Then I decorated the three front panels.

And here it is stood up.

Another Oriental Scrapbook Page

I was just playing around with layering some different papers.  I now wish I had mounted the main image on a dark colour background, but too late now!

Envelope Pocket Tag Holder

Made a tag pocket from a recycled envelope.

This is where the tag pulls out the pocket at the top.

Pocket without the tag inside.

The hidden tag and the elephant tag from the pocket.

And the backs.

And then I decided to round the corners and add something else to the tag. So this is what they look like now.

I am thinking of adding them to some of the pages in the oriental book that I previously made.

Another Book Page Play

I made a few more embellishments as I'd not done anything previously in green. I also played around with some layouts.

And another layout using my new to me spellbinder border dies.

And another one with a few alterations.

Then when I went to stick it in my black book, I realised that I'd made it the wrong way round. Sums up the day I had really!
